'America's Great Outdoors' unveiled (Fed land grab)

President Barack Obama is trumpeting a conservation plan that he hopes will get an indoor nation out of the house.

In an address from the White House on Wednesday, Obama is rolling out his “America’s Great Outdoors” initiative, a plan to coordinate several federal conservation programs in order to connect Americans to the natural world.

The plan would seek to protect wild places near urban centers and promote recreational access on public lands, as well as create a youth conservation corps dedicated to hiring young people to work outside. With four out of five Americans living in or near cities, the administration is touting the initiative as key to promoting healthy lifestyles for an urban population.

Of course, the plan comes with a price tag, and that’s where the president has already drawn the ire of congressional Republicans. Obama’s proposed budget includes $900 million for the Land and Water Conservation Fund, a program that uses revenue from oil and gas lease sales to purchase and conserve sensitive outdoor spaces. If approved, the $900 million would be the highest allocation ever in the fund’s 46-year history.

Give him and Bernanke a few months to completely collapse the economy and the government - then the survivors of the ‘troubles’ will be subsistance farming...

Close enough to ‘nature’ for ya???

How about passing a law preventing the President from taking federal land away from the people without a vote of Congress?

Well the Missus is trying to teach us how to garden. We just didn't know how much we would be needing one.

Looks like another scheme by Barry to “invest” more tax dollars. The key to the press release is this:

“create a youth conservation corps dedicated to hiring young people to work outside.”

Barry is going to stimulate the economy more by hiring the kids of DNC cronies to do some weeding and constructing frog houses.

Well, being in the 3C’s gave you a leg up for getting into the Army during the depression...

If they hand out berets for this one it could make a serious dent in New Black panther enrollments.

Yes Barry, we understand....
1-You hate America
2-You believe people are the scourge of the earth
3-You want to shut down American industry and growth
4-You want access to America’s resources cut off, no mining, reduced farming, no hunting, no motorized access...

Barry, America simply wants you gone...
