So..Chicago has a new crime boss.....
Of course he did!! Chicago deserves what they get.
Let's see if Rahmbo can actually RUN something!!
Surprise, surprise, surprise!
You’d think Daley would just declare Rham the winner
and save all the expense of an election.
Now the Chi-town libs will realize true tyranny. Get ready for more Meigs Field fiascos. They will wake up each morning with new decrees which they must abide.
Suffer well fools.
In addition, perhaps the little ballerina’s former hangout, Man’s Country, the sodomite bathhouse in boystown will now become a state landmark....
AMEN...but Chicago is so used to the Dailey crime family no one will notice the difference...No Rahm can only screw up Chicago and leave the rest of us alone.
Actually, Chicago has another professional midget.
Bless his heart...
Sickening, but expected.
Stole the election like Harry Reid.
There will be plenty of crises there for him not to waste . . lol.
For his party or for the mayorship? Is there a vote between the two parties?
According to voting records, 200,000 people cast their vote. Rahm won 350,000 to 0.
Let Chicago have him.
LOL. Was there ever a doubt?
They deserve each other.
He wet his pants when the judge said he couldn’t claim residency. Had to come up with plenty of cash to fix that one I’d bet.
Ahh Chicago. I’m so damn glad I don’t live around there any more.
What a surprise......
why even have an election
Ole Rahm can run with the biggest and the baddest Chicago big dawgs. He’s a perfect fit for Chi-town.
Those people deserve everything they voted for. They have no complaints when things hit the fan.
Filthy old place. Now there’s a resident alien in charge of Chicago and a resident alien in charge of the country :)
who beleives elections are honest anymore....Chicago has had the fix in since at least the Kennedy’s.....
A Chicago jail is where he belongs (with his political friends).
So sad, Chicago is actually a very enjoyable city :(
Many conservatives live nearby and wish there would have been another outcome!!!

Blagojevich trial hangs over Rahms campaign
Rahm Emanuel may have retained his spot on the mayoral ballot, but hes also kept a spot in another, less desirable place a federal subpoena.
An attorney for former Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Emanuel remains under defense subpoena for the upcoming retrial, scheduled for April 20.
Its certainly possible we would call Rahm Emanuel as a witness, Blagojevich attorney Sheldon Sorosky said.
Sorosky said at the direction of U.S. District Judge James Zagel, all the subpoenas issued in last summers first Blagojevich trial would be still valid in the second trial.
Emanuel, who was captured on tape in conversations with Blagojevich and his staff, was not called as a witness in the first trial where Blagojevich was convicted on just one of 24 counts.
But Sorosky said if the government opens the door in this go-around, Emanuel could take the stand.
Wed have to see just what evidence the government presents, Sorosky said
*yawns* Surprised? Didn’t think so....
Fixed from the get-go.
No surprise, the people of Chicago never surprise us, except when they retired Rosty in 1994.
Shortly after the city was founded in 1832 it was selected as the site for the big cash payoff to the Northern Indian tribes for their lands in the East.
That event attracted every con-man in North America and many of those in Europe. Except for those who accompanied the Indians West to Oklahoma and other sites carved out for them, the criminal class just never left the place.
Some analysts believe that Chicago's population was majority "criminal" for the next 100 years!
There is no hope.
How can conservatism win in ALL U.S. cities? This is what, still, needs to be done. If the electoral college is eliminated, then the cities will determine who all future U.S. Presidents will be, and this is the main reason why the left wants to get rid of the electoral college.
My birth state, the Land of Lincoln has been destroyed!
Hear hear. I love Chicago.
I wanna know the most important question in all this: How many people did Rambo have to mail dead fish to in order to win the mayoral race? Well...how many?!?!?!?
Hooray! No more corruption in Chi-town!
He just finished speaking. Ive never heard him give a speech. Hes awful. Makes Mayor Squeeky Daley sound eloquent. And he has the same Obama lisp....”Reporter” Mike Flannery explains that he’s not a speechmaker, he’s a backroom deal kinda guy.
I’d never heard that. Interesting!
Chicago will get what it deserves...they elect a socialist, rude, vulgar man they can expect the liked of the Daily crew or worse...
I used to enjoy going to Chicago with my mom when I was a kid. I wouldn’t go there for anything now.
What a non-story. Did anyone doubt Rahmbo would win?
I’m positively gobsmacked!!!
You’re so right, they lose .. they change the playing field. And that effort is newly reinvigorated:
Tom Golisano to Lead National Popular Vote Effort
5:27 AM, Feb 22, 2011
ALBANY — Tom Golisano, the three-time New York gubernatorial candidate and billionaire Rochester-area native, is becoming the spokesman for the National Popular Vote campaign, bankrolling an effort to get states to move to a popular-vote system for electing a president.
Golisano, the founder of Paychex Inc. in Penfield, Monroe County, will announce his role at a news conference in Washington D.C. today. The announcement comes on the same day his sale of the Buffalo Sabres, which he has owned since 2003, is set to become official, a deal worth a reported $189 million.
In an interview with Gannett’s Albany Bureau on Monday, Golisano said his role in the national push will be to meet with legislative leaders and governors across the country. The measure has already passed six states and is being actively considered in dozens of others.
Golisano wouldn’t say how much he is contributing financially to the effort, which will include an advertising and lobbying campaign, saying only “it’s not an inexpensive proposition.”
“The real essence of the issue is in a democracy the person that gets the most number of votes should win. And everybody’s vote should count equally,” Golisano said. “When you have the winner-take-all rule that you have in the Electoral College, all the votes don’t count equally. So that’s why I’m involved
Of course he did. With all those Democrat legislators for Wisconsin and Indiana in town, he was a shoe-in.
“WON the Chicago mayoral election...”
No......he BOUGHT the election.
After the law was thrown out (residency), the outcome was never in doubt.
Hey - that rhymes!!!! ;-P
Wouldn’t you just love to know all that went on in Mayor Daley’s decision making about stepping down. I hope he prepares a memoir (for posthumous publication?) that gives the unvarnished version. But I’m not holding my breath.
