As Libyans face being slaughtered at the hands of despotic dictator Muammar Gaddafi and President Obama unofficially gears up for the 2012 Presidential elections, Jeremy Bird, the Deputy Director of Obamas political arm, Organizing for America, is apparently prepping for full campaign mode. Last night, OFA supporters received an email asking: Know any Good Organizers? The text reads: Friend This summer, Organizing for America will train a new team of summer organizers.

Anybody read “Radical in Chief” by Stanley Kurtz? This is what they do...they organize.
Reading his book and seeing what’s happening in this country is really very scary. Unfortunately, they are well-organized and vocal and train people on how to get attention.

Beware the rural organizing project. So far they’re only officially operating in Oregon but I’m sure it won’t be long before they seek to infect more states.

That’s what Wade Rathke did with ACORN. They were a left leaning group but they rejected Rathke’s ideas so he went ahead and did as he pleased.
I never waste an opportunity to stir anger and dissent between public and private sector unions. I tell SEIU members that a teacher I know says that SEIU are just overpaid uneducated toilet scrubbers.
Excellent! I think some photos of high ranking union officials living it up on the member’s dime (like Enron and their toga parties) would work wonders as well.
A “community organizer” showed up at my door the other day.
Did not beat him up too badly as he appeared to be a college freshman who had just answered a newspaper ad for a $10/hr. part-time job. Was polite and did not get obnoxious or in my face in any way. Obviously he has no future in that field.
