Pelosi and the Dimorats new they would lose a few seats at the federal level but they had NO IDEA about all of the states the have turned red...
California did do this a long time ago, but as is the norm around these parts, the courts reversed the will of the voters.

In the Golden State, the voice of the voters is ignored regularly.
It sounds like the bigger problem is lack of enforcement of EXISTING laws regarding illegals.
Rep. Hubbard is having a difficult time defending and supporting HIS bill.
Yep - that’s the example I was thinking of.
They are demanding definitions that aren’t needed and bringing up what-if scenerio.
