Koch Industries the second largest privately owned company in the country, according to Forbes. The Koch brothers are behind the Heritage Foundation, the CATO Institute, and are probably the biggest financial backers of the TEA party.

Among other things, he is a large contibutor to important causes such as cancer research. This is the David Koch Institute for Cancer Research:
He and his brother (Koch Industries, largest privately held company) held a conference which was themed around non-leftist ideals recently, so the left are demonizing them.
