SALEM, Ore. (AP) -- Seven-term Democratic Rep. David Wu faced increasing pressure Wednesday to step down amid a series of bizarre revelations in recent days about his mental health, including a photo he sent to staffers during his re-election bid showing him wearing a tiger costume.
The state Republican chair and one of Oregon's largest newspapers said Wu should resign, but Wu says he has no intention of quitting.

You know, unless it was a picture of him having sex while wearing the tiger costume, I don’t see what the big deal is.
Leave the guy alone. If Gabrielle Giffords can keep her job, so should he.
I hope that they keep up the pressure. Wu probably won’t resign, but it’s still possible. Now is the best time to have a special election.
Barney Frank can remain in politics at the federal level, but this guy needs to go.
Well?...It depends upon the costume. Was a church Halloween Party, or a kinky GLBT parade?
Time to get the Wu out.
Next he will be wearing a Moimar Kaddaffii outfit and calling in his mercs to spray the crowd with lead.
Photo’s been posted on the net. It’s not that weird. It seems like this was only one of a series of bizarre actions. He’s had staff quitting and asking him to check into a mental institution.
There is one fact that we can glean from this story: The “Furry Caucus” has at least one member.
Thanks Clintonfatigued. Wu’s nothing but a rug-pisser.
Well, Liberalism IS a mental disorder!
Considerning the pics of Al Franken and John Kerry, a tiger costume is tame!
He’s just another frigging liberal on the West Coast. Bizarre behavior is expected and I’m surprised he’s not being rewarded somehow.
OK not a good look. You’ve really got to be Alyson Hannigan to pull that look off.
Wopani Wu is through!
LOL. Kerry has him beat by a country mile.
Which just goes to show you that Tiger Boy might be the most sane Democrat in the Congress.
