I was referring to your statement to eliminate all discretionary spending. DoD is included within that portion of the budget called ‘discretionary’. By eliminating all ‘discretionary’ spending, you have completely defunded the pentagon. Whether defense is enumerated or not or whether posse comitatus applies or not becomes irrelevent. After defunding the pentagon, there is little left to ‘cleanup’.
