Glad to know we can help. Our thoughts and prayers are with y’all in the south ocean. We are a bit distracted by events here, you know, trying to save the republic and all.

The TV building was wrecked.
,,, many thanks to the US for being one of the first countries to offer help at this disasterous time. The US and Brit teams arrive at Christchurch Airport around 1,00am Friday (about an hour and a half from now).
My eldest son teaches at the University of Christchurch. He’s okay, and his family, too, thank God. Their house is destroyed. Nothing left. Horrific devastation, heartbreaking. All we can do here in the US is pray and send help.
Glad your son and family are okay. Many prayers for the people in Christchurch. Still hoping for a miracle for those missing.
