The Buffalo Beast blogger who prank-called Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker, falsely posing as billionaire David Koch, has written some edgy — some may say offensive — articles in the past. For the publication he edits, Ian Murphy has written such pieces as.... [edited for profanity]

He was arrested and charged with crimes, right?
And yet...we are expected to sort of blush here, and let the guy off.
This also happened with an elderly couple who intercepted and recorded a mobile phone call Newt Gingrich was making —they alleged they made the recording for historical purposes for their grandkids.
Neither did Murphy's mom.
They ended up paying a lot of money. Unfortunately they didn't die in prison so they're still around ~ but you're right, we don't hear of them much these days.
He’s POS nothing.
All he did was lie and deceive in order to lay a trap. If Gov. Walker had caught on, the tape would have been deleted and we’d never have heard anything about this.
When you don’t make a career of lying and spinning, you don’t have to remember which lie you told last. Gov. Walker said the same thing in private that he’s said in public.
This turd Murphy should be ignored.

I found that article he wrote yesterday but didn’t feel good about posting it on here because of the bad language. He’s a disgusting piece of crap and I hope somehow the law can be brought down on him.
I think not recognizing the imposter actually speaks well for Governor Walker - if he were “in Koch’s pocket”, one would think he’d recognize Koch’s voice. What this REALLY says is his office does not have sufficient phone screening in place.
