Here is how Peter Yost of the Associated Press (as dutifully reported by their ally, Newsday), defended Obamas reversal on the Defense of Marriage Act (the reversal being that the Justice department will no longer defend the act, which defines marriage as between a man and a woman for federal purposes. Obama campaigned as an opponent of gay marriage.):
Obamas move may position him politically at the forefront of rising public support for gay marriage. Polling results can vary rather significantly depending on what words are used to describe gay marriage, but there is a gradual trend in public opinion toward more acceptance of gay marriage. An Associated Press-National Constitution Center Poll conducted last August found 52 percent of Americans saying the federal government should give legal recognition to marriages between couples of the same sex, while 46 percent said it should not. In polling by ABC News and The Washington Post, support for the legalization of gay marriage has climbed from 37 percent in 2003 to 47 percent in February 2010.
Nowhere in the article is it explained that the National Constitution Center, which sponsored one of these polls, leans heavily toward the Democrats in its boards composition, is chaired by Bill Clinton, and was the site of Obamas nationally televised speech on race, where he issued his non-acknowledgement of any association with his radical mentor Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Obama poisons almost everything he touches — given that, I almost hope he WOULD jump out in front of the Gay and BLGTHBB (whatever unpronounceable acronym) parade.
I haven’t got time for this — I am going to Hawaii to marry my dog....
Hope you enjoyed your stay,
ta-ta.. TROLL!
You’re discussing an important subject, but as you are the author, you own the website and you are the poster, why is this excerpted ?
He wants hits on his blog.
The “Media” is nothing more than Obama’s propaganda machine.
I don't see how anybody who is not a left-wing ideologue can deny it.
Media Leads Charge Against Traditional Marriage
If you’ve ever seen at least three minutes of this American Family program on ABC, you cannot doubt the statement.
This, brought to you courtesy of the “fiscal conservatives.”
Traditional marriage is 3 things:
1) It is permanent.
2) It is sexually exclusive.
3) It contains one man and at least one woman.
In a nation which allows traditional marriage, divorce is forbidden or very difficult to accomplish, adultery is a crime or at least a tort which carries substantial damages, and unmarried women who bear a child or children are cast into poverty because they have no right to support from the alleged father.
THAT'S "traditional marriage".
What we have now is gay marriage restricted to heterosexuals. Gay marriage is 1) Impermanent, 2) Marked by frequent extramarital relationships which are celebrated by society, and 3) Does not condition parenthood on marriage, and rewards and celebrates single female (and now male) parents.
It is illegal for a couple to write a marriage contract which has permanence and fidelity as conditions to be guaranteed by the state.
Under these circumstances, why shouldn't homosexuals want in on the deal?
If "traditional marriage" were ever to be reestablished, homosexuals would run away from it as fast as possible.
