Victory Alert: Abortion Clinic Safety Passes Senate!!

In a historic vote, the state Senate today approved legislation that requires the Board of Health to create regulation for abortion centers in Virginia! After over two decades of hiding behind a veil of political secrecy, abortion centers in Virginia will now face greater scrutiny and better health standards.

After a long and passionate debate on the Senate floor, the vote was 20-20 with Lt. Governor Bill Bolling casting the deciding vote in favor of the bill!

We will provide more information on this tremendous victory later.

Yes, but now the standards for hygiene can become ver-r-r-ry stringent!

Simply comparing the number of cannula’s bought to the number of patients seen would get every one of them shut down ...

It certainly is curious to see so many dems fighting against regulating an industry out of existence.

There is more regulation of the air, soil and water within 100 miles of any oil refinery than there is in one accursed room of a baby-killing factory.

The Democrat party celebrates abortion.

It is quite rare that there was a 20/20 tie. Usually in that case, one of the members that intends to vote opposite the Lt. Governor will simply not vote. In this event, the final vote is 20 in favor, 19 opposed. But any bill requires a minimum of 21 Senate votes, and the Lt. Governor is only allowed to vote in the event of a 20/20 tie.

When I was a kid, I remember the Equal Rights Amendment died in the State legislature because an opposing Senator was not present when the vote was taken, leading to a 20-19 defeat and a powerless Lt. Governor supporting passage.

Please thank Democrat Senators Colgan and Puckett for voting with Republicans, so this bill would pass...

Thank the remaining Democrats as well. If any one of them had simply not voted, the bill would have fallen short of the 21 votes needed for passage, because Lt. Governor Boling would not have been allowed a vote.

Unreal! These HIGH profit butcher shops have almost no regulation?

It's true, in many states. Women have been hoodwinked into going to obtain a 'medical procedure' in places, that all too often, have fewer health regulations than they beauty parlor they use...

I think of all the places like Gosnell’s that just haven’t been discovered yet. Chilling.

There was an abortion mill shut down in Montgomery, AL. Rather than clean up their place and follow any regulations, they chose to shut down entirely. I pray that this will be the case here as well! Defunding Planned Parenthood will help further shut these mills.

There’s another campaign of 40 Days for Life coming up soon. Sometimes we hear reports of increased anxiety and in-fighting amongst the abortion staff during these campaigns. We love to hear when the workers leave the job...they just can’t take it anymore.

Chipping away at the wall...it WILL come tumbling down!!

I suspect the “coathanger in a back alley” discouraged a lot of mothers and saved a lot of children. Make murder upleasant and dangerous for the murderer, and you save a lot of lives.

So I say let these death houses remain filthy, unsanitary places. Let these mothers - who hate their children enough to kill them - see what a death house looks like.

Perhaps some will realize what it really is they’re plotting, and will be shocked back to their senses. And those that don’t, well, let them die for murdering their children.

It will increase their costs which will make it harder to keep their doors open.

Why don’t all the other myriad of laws concerning healthcare safety apply to these places?

This 50% death-rate figure for women seems much too high to be real. Do you have a source? (Of course, we know it is 100% mortality for the fetus.)

Two living people enter an abortion mill, one walking and one pre-born. One person walks out still alive, and the other goes into the trash can or down the garbage disposal - dying or dead. To me, that looks a whole lot like a 50% mortality rate.

Because Democrats have successfully exempted Abortion clinics from any and all regulations for many years....they have the same low regulation as a vet office.

How many complications in VA abortion clinics last year? How many deaths? We don’t know because (unlike other surgical outpatient clinics in VA) they are not required to report them.

When there is a problem at a surgical abortion clinic, they have to call 911 because they are not required to have life-saving equipment there.

I have been told there have been 2 deaths in VA abortion clinics in recent years...one of them was in NVA. The media will not report this because they support unlimited abortion on demand....which might be hindered if people knew the truth.

The Auschwitz example is an excellent one. But this VA senate vote does prove one thing, people are beginning to think about unborn human life in humane terms. That’s good. It is getting harder for the libs to describe pro-lifers as “out of the main stream.”

Those actually did exist. Nazi officers liked to keep a clean house...

The new vermin have taken the death camps, broken them into sections, and put them in our neighborhoods. One cannot walk out in public for 2 minutes without looking into the face of evil.

Meanwhile, they left is trying to get all sorts of restrictions placed on abortion alternative services,

trying to get them shut down.

Why else would they want them shut down if not to promote as many abortions as possible?
