A Walt Disney World employee is accused of raping a single mother he lured to Central Florida with offers of free theme-park passes and bargain accommodations at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Reservations clerk Wilbert "B.J." Brookins, 31, was charged with sexual battery Wednesday, a day after the woman and her two young children arrived from out of state to celebrate her birthday with a family vacation, records state.
The woman accused him of raping her Tuesday evening.
The alleged rape happened after he took her and her children on a free tour of the Magic Kingdom, according to arrest records.
Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger said Thursday that Brookins had been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
The sheriff's sex-crimes unit is trying to determine if Brookins used his "Friends and Family" discount to book bargain-rate rooms for other women and used his employee pass to provide them with free admission to Disney theme parks.
"Our investigation into Mr. Brookins is looking into whether he has made similar offers to other guests," sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons said Thursday afternoon. "We want to make sure there are no other victims."
The woman first encountered Brookins two to three weeks ago when she called Walt Disney World reservations to inquire about the costs of hotel reservations and theme-park tickets, according to the sheriff's office.
Brookins handled her call. After hearing she was unemployed and spending her income-tax refund check to take her children on vacation, Brookins sent her a text message telling her not to make a reservation because he would book her room under a "Friends and Family" discount, records state.

I guess that wasn’t the E-Ticket ride he promised her.
Whoa! you remember those tickets? :)
Long gone. I loved them - you got into the park for almost nothing.
She supposedly kept trying to sleep after telling him no and having him disrobe and grope and finally sexually assault her.
He supposedly did all that, took her bank card, and $40 cash from her the night BETWEEN him taking them to Disney and then Epcot the NEXT DAY!
So she went with him the next day to Epcot!
No wonder the emphasis of Disney is ‘has he provided his discount to other women’ - in the quest for other ‘victims’ namely themselves of his free and/or discount date/daterape scam.
After the events the nite before (and not calling police when he "tried to pull her pants off" while "she was asleep"), then goes the folowing day to Wally World with him (still not having reported ANYTHING), then she decides to report it then?
Gimme a break.....
I think there are some parts of that story that just don’t add up, but I guess crazier things have happened.
‘I guess crazier things have happened.’
Remember, it’s ‘The Magic Kingdom’.
Walt Disney must be turning over in his freezer.
Buried in the story it also mentions out she “hurt her back” riding Space Mountain.
I smell a big ol’ lawsuit coming Mickey’s way.
Couldn’t she read the warning at the ride not to go on if you had back or heart problems?
Doesn’t sound like any type of sign was going to prevent this genius from hurting herself.
-Unemployed but taking a pricey vacation, anyway
-Accepting freebies from a stranger
-Going to sleep with the stranger in her room
-exposing her kids to this kind of beheviour/danger
Not exactly the poster-child for common sense.
But not to worry, I’m sure she already has a bottom-feeder lined up to make The House of Mouse pay for her stupidity.
It looks like Disney isn't going to just roll over to avoid publicity.
The guy will still lose his job - and he should.
But rape - ahh, don't think so.
“How do you fall asleep during a rape?”
Oh, I am SO tempted to post a smart-assed reply!
But my wife would kill me dead. And make rude comparisons as well.
After hearing she was unemployed and spending her income-tax refund check to take her children on vacation,....
Realy bright move on her part....
Didn’t want to pay to play after accepting the offer?
What did she think was on his mind?
Date rape drug?
Is he F***ING GOOFY??!?
I'm sorry, that was just wrong. I apologize.
