Paul: Well, I think competition makes things better. You have to compete with other late-night comedians; I have to compete with other physicians. I think competition makes us better. Think if you didn’t have that guy, what’s his name, you have to compete with?

Rand Paul is not his father and he really kicked letterwomans ass.

When Paul pointed out facts, ol' dave would respond, "There is something wrong with that, I just don't know what it is".

In other words, " Don't confuse me with facts".

Nope, it won’t take decades to recover!!! Why??? If we put all these America destroyers and haters out of business, America will bounce back to the top in just a few years (3-4). Obama and his minions want to take America down and destroy her, and....he is doing a terrific job across the board!!! But.....if the American dream is to rebound, Obama and his economy destroying union buddies and America haters must go!!! Wake-uip out there Americans. Your future is at stake, Shucks, our country’s future is at stake!!!

I can’t believe people actually applaud his stupidity.

And therein lies the problem.....

This country has fallen so far from it's ideals that I am afraid it is hopeless. These are the people that continue to send politicians to Washington to demand more of 'OPM' (other peoples money).

It is hard to get angry with the Tea Party people when you are face to face with them. In all cases they are civil and knowledgeable. Hacks like Letterman are forced into civility for fear of looking like the deranged people they paint the TP people as behind their backs.

The host is shockingly shallow. Paul did very well. He did not, however, speak of privatization of all schools. Maybe he thinks this too radical an idea and mentioning it would do more harm than good?

The policies the left support hurt the poor and they don’t even know why, its so sad.

Increases taxes and regulations, reduces jobs for the poor.

Increasing government spending, leads to borrowing money from the rich and paying them interest, which leads to the fed printing more money creating inflation which hurt the poor

In one hand, the governmnet give out a $100 to a poor and pat themselves for job well done, while they ignore their other hand that takes the $100 away

The government is great at breaking someone’s leg then giving them a crutch. See, without me, you couldn’t walk

Free food, free housing, free utilities, free cable, free cell phones, free 24/7 access to the emergency room to dope up the kids when they won't sleep .... You have to admit it takes some hard work to convince them they are not being helped.
