Breaking: Kathleen Parker Is Out At CNN

After months of turbulence at CNN’s Parker Spitzer, the network will drop co-host Kathleen Parker from the show, according to sources and a memo released to CNN staff. Eliot Spitzer will continue with the show.

According to CNN chief Ken Jautz, the new show will be solo-anchored by Spitzer and an “ensemble format” of contributors and be called In the Arena. The new show debuts Monday. Here’s the memo:

I want to share with you some news today regarding our 8pm show. Kathleen Parker has decided to leave the program to focus on her writing, and we have decided to take the show in a new direction. We will be adopting an ensemble format with several newsmakers, guests and contributors joining Eliot Spitzer each night. The new program will be called, “In the Arena,” beginning Monday. E.D. Hill and Will Cain will join the program as well others within and outside the CNN family.

It’s because she felt like such a whore, selling out her integrity sitting across from an effing, whore-hopping snake, and having to discuss supposedly legit topics without going “Eeeeewwwwwwww!!!” every time .... bwaaaahaaaahahahahahahaha

My prediction: It won’t help ratings

They are going to hold on to Spitzer like he’s the Rock of Gibraltar. CNN will go completely down the tubes before Eliot Spitzer even hears of a problem. He’s exactly what they want, what they’re looking for, and what their tiny audience aspires to be. He’s absolutely safe. He might as well be a Supreme Court justice. He’s got a job for life with CNN. It doesn’t matter if their US audience dwindles to 1,500 people in prime time. Spitzer will still be there.

If CNN wanted to boost their ratings against the Factor they could put Laura Ingraham on. But why would they want to do that.

An erect Spitzer has no conscience.

They should run it with Eliot Spitzer and five of his old girlfriends. They wouldn’t have to talk much, just sit there and look pretty. And maybe ask the Madam to moderate.

Yes, E. D. Hill must be desperate to get out of the house, away from her six kids, to take this gig with Spitzer as the token “conservative.” Sorry to hear an old Texas girl has fallen so low.

Alex Jones was smart to put him on yesterday, big ratings bounce (I’m sure the dinosaur broadcasters took note Alex ate their lunch).

"Paging Charlie Sheen...."

They would never put Sheen in that job, not because he wouldn't be WILDLY entertaining (because he would), and not because he wouldn't get tremendous ratings (again, because he would). They would never put Sheen in that job because the liberal mafia wouldn't dare put an unfiltered spokesman of orthodox liberalism in front of a national audience.

Sheen is the POSTER CHILD of run-amok liberalism - all the drugs, all the abortion, all the unprotected and out of wedlock sex that can be had, IS had by Charlie Sheen. He is the product of, the very embodiment of liberalism.

CNN can't let the world see that every night. No way.

Spitzer is everything Sheen is, but he cleans up better and has an Ivy League education and can temper his public comments, so he's acceptable.
