From the first link:

“[There] are countless scenes of rough, bleak dialogue that never seem to stay on the track. This soon becomes the tone of the entire film: incomprehensible gibberish. I’m more than willing to give credit to the sound engineers, mixers and operators for their crisp captures. That said, I haven’t a clue in hell what was rolling through John Aglialoro‘s and Brian Patrick O’Toole’s craniums when they wrote the screenplay. Somebody please have them admitted for a CAT scan ASAP. [...]”

I betting that this is actually an ‘honest’ assessment of the film from the perspective of A LIBERAL. You would get the same review of the book which is clearly beyond the comprehension of this guy. If you’ve only learned arithmetic then you are going to have a heck of a time reviewing ‘Introduction to Calculus’.

I’m sure you’re exactly right.

A liberal would naturally be baffled by a world full of producers.

Helpful for those who will never have the free time to read the book before seeing the movie.

Aw come on, it's only about 6 pounds. Be a man!

Likewise, Dagny will provide freight service to Ellis Wyatt and the Colorado industrialists but not to the destitute economy of socialist Mexico because Wyatt and his colleagues produce but the Mexican economy does not.

Well, plus she thinks there's a good chance if she makes a success of it, the Mexican government will steal it from her and nationalize it.

Dagny seeks to earn profit; Jim seeks to serve the public welfare.

OK, I got to this and realized the writer's an idiot. The sentence is literally true, but very misleading. Jim wants to make profit too, he just thinks he can do stupid collectivist things and still get there, whereas Dagny's world is the one that truly extends people an opportunity.

You and Bill are amazing. I hope your book gets published! Maybe the buzz of the movie will inspire the publishers to get moving and get it out soon. I think it would be a fantastic compliment to the movie. I wish you both the best of luck in this endeavor.
