Sen. Scott Brown: ‘Reagan Democrats’ helped me win seat. (Good luck without Tea Party support)
Boston Herald ^ | February 26, 2011 | AP

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is crediting so-called "Reagan Democrats" for helping him win the seat once held by Democratic stalwart Edward Kennedy

The Republican made the comments Friday at the Reagan Presidential Library in California.

Brown said Reagan Democrats, who crossed party lines twice to elect the former Republican president, also turned out to back his candidacy. He said Reagan Democrats are still a force in Massachusetts and without their support he would not have been elected senator.

Brown also acknowledged that there was "a bit of luck working for me" in last year’s special election.

LUCK, my a**! It was the tens of thousands of us Tea Party Patriots who (from all over) contributed and worked to help elect you, Moonbat!

And here's the kicker and just in case there was ANY doubt Brown is a FULL-FLEDGED, RINO:

"Although he didn’t always agree with Kennedy, Brown said he still keeps a picture of the liberal lion in his office.

ENOUGH SAID?

Realizing we would like to gain control of the Senate in 2012 and knowing he may be the best we can expect from Taxachussetts, I will not be sending him a dime next year.

Everyone else can do as they please!!!

The “best” we can hope for is that enough conservatives will win in other states that it either won’t matter if Brown loses, or that his power to push things in a liberal direction will be diminished.

My first major clue was when Big Media didn’t complain when “Republican” Brown offered up his daughter to the crowd on election night.

Whatever happens he was better than that shrew Coakley. He will have a hard time holding his seat without acknowledging the truth of how he was elected, however...the tea party totally put him in.

Sounds like Brown’s metamorphosis into Little Tedddy is nearing completion. I just knew that no good could come out of Massachusetts.

I won’t send Sen. Brown any direct contribution this time around. Instead, I’m going to spend those dollars on tax deductible charitible contributions.

No Thanks to Brown to the Tea Party. Brown is telling everyone he will vote democrat on any bill, he will perform a Specter soon switch parties to Democrat.

There is saying up here in the UP of Michigan about the toilet and water usage ‘if it is yellow let it mellow. if it is Brown flush it on down.’

New campaign Slogan for the Tea Party in Massachusetts.
FLUSH BROWN BACK TO HIS COSMOPOLITAN DAZE.

You know, I hadn't thought of that, but you might be onto something.

That would not surprise me if he did jump ship and sometimes next year, declare he had "seen the light" and would either become a Demo-Rat or, run as a "Progressive Independent," while promising to caucus with the Dhimmy-Crats like Leiberman and Vermont's own Commie, Bernie Sanders.

After all, by then, he will have a solid voting record of having supported Dear Leader and the Rats while opposing the R's on almost every major issue.

The only reason I would care about this seat is if it is necessary for 60. At 53-54 seats Taxechusettes could be a suburb of Moscow. I couldn’t care less.

I also think he’ll switch parties. He’s tasted power no he won’t give it up easily.

Mr. Browns victory was a needed lift for Republicans and Americans.
Then we all discovered Brown was your basic Dem in RINO clothing.
In the future he and all RINOs can go fish.

Maybe he can get the Kennedy Estate to pony up some cash so he can go after the liberal-lion vote.

I don’t think he will switch parties - he’s hated just as much on the left and wouldn’t survive a Democrat primary imo.

I think the Tea Party did get the ball rolling for him but he’s also right that lots of Reagan Democrats crossed party lines to vote for him. He’s better than the alternative until a more conservative candidate comes along.

We need to pick up another ten conservative Republican seats in the Senate the next time around to get things done.

I worked for Brown, sent him money and convinced five fence-sitters to vote for him.

All folks such as me need do is nothing and he will be swept from office by (Name your Dem.)

Switching parties won't work for him. There are too many loyal Kennedy coat-holders waiting in line.

We will win the Senate in ‘12 with room to spare, so Brown is no longer useful.

Those that say he’s better than a Dem, I disagree. By having Brown around, the media can continue to prop him (and his votes) up to attack conservatism. Just like they did with McCain for years.

With no RINOs around the line between conservative and liberal is that much clearer.
