Her chief of staff provided the following statement to New York Magazine in response to Karl Rove:

"Of all the potential candidates, Governor Palin would no doubt be the one desiring new energy and ideas…and, refreshingly, hiring advisers who aren’t entrenched in any political machine."

Why respond? Ignore him. Who in the American voting public reads NYM other than elites?

“Ever since he came out against the Republican candidate for Delaware and trashed her the day she won the primary, I have had no use whatsoever for Karl Rove.”

On that day, Rove died.

RINOS have destroyed our options for years. Let’s see, McCain or Obama? My son correctly pointed out before that election that McCain’s election would guarantee 4 years of steady federal growth, while Obama’s election would at least give us clarity, and possibly a real conservative afterwards. He was absolutely correct.

First off, give Rove credit. Without him we might have had 8 years of Al Gore, or worse, 4 years of McCain and now the second term of John Kerry.

In saying that, the country club Republican is dead! The bodies haven’t yet decomposed.

It’s the time of the Conservative.

Hm. I wonder, then, how Mr. Glassner explained to Ms. Palin why his political past does not therefore disqualify him....

This is the heart of obvious, you just don't understand what he means because you are looking for folks who are inexperienced, ineffective and on the complete margin where as Palin is looking for folks who know what they are doing, have experience but are not "insiders" or members of the Harvard/Yale Elite club. Understand?

Glassner is a man of enormous capabilities and Palin and he were instant friends and this caused him to be sent to political "Siberia" by the McCain RINO don't really want to win squad who immediately began to undercut Sarah when she eclipsed McCain in wattage and affection of the Republican party. This is why she was set up for the disastrous interviews with openly hostile press first. Simply to take her down a peg.

In the world of Politics there are many "operatives" out there and some are good and some aren't worth the powder to blow them to hades but they have "friends" and collude. They are "professionals" that are cynical to the extreme and could care less about the politician, the people or our country. Palin is looking to side step these snakes and find good quality people. But, the folks who do this professionally are not noticing their friends being approached and hired by Palin so they say she is not doing anything. Because if she was, she would be calling their "union" hall and requesting their buddies.. Understand??

Rove is just pissed because Gov Palin makes 2.5 times more than he does on FOxnews.

Rove is a has-been. And the progressives always show their true colors sooner or later. he would rather see a Sen Coons than a Sen O’Donnell and a Pres Obama than a Pres Palin.

maybe you missed it but Palin new COS is not part of any Machine. He was demoted by the McCain staff when he went rouge with gov Palin. He was left in the cold by the Bush team. but you know you got a narrative you want to push so ignore the facts....

You're kidding yourself. People don't get to be a senior members of two different presidential campaigns -- especially those of men like Senators Dole and McCain -- without being "entrenched in [a] political machine."

Glassner's an insider. He's a member of the club.

And although his resume is quite impressive, there's still the fact that he was a senior insider of two of the worst campaigns in recent history.

All that aside, I was merely pointing to the interesting dichotomy between what Glassner said, and what he's done.

notice it was not Gov Palin responding. But her COS. I,.e Palin is saying Rove is beneath her and will not garner any response from her. Which could be a sign she is gearing up for a run. Before Gov Palin would have made a comment now she lets her people do it. A big sign of a new level of campaigning coming I think...First rule in politics never punch down always punch at your level or higher up...
