The Wisconsin socialists are already doing judge shopping in case Gov Scott Walker gets his way....That’s what this news means.

Its interesting to me, educators at least at the university level, love to proclaim that there is no objective reality, morality, right and wrong, etc etc. Except, apparently, when it comes to tenure, and pension. Those are sacrosanct, immutable contractual obligations. Hm.World 's biggest hypocrites. I noticed that too. Plus check out how much those well paid university libs donate to charities. Minimal I'll bet
Plus the university administrations are full of gays and lesbians...the liberal kind that hire only their own.

I’m just sure the FFs were thinking about unions when they wrote the Constitution.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett today sent a letter to Walker, requesting that Walker seek a legal opinion from the Wisconsin Attorney General on the matter. Hey Tom Barrett, I believe you got shellacked in the Nov 2 election by GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER, primarily on the issue of reining in & lowering state gubmint spending. So you're "concerned" opinion counts....well it actually isn't worth the paper it was slimmed onto.

But supposing his particles seed themselves throughout our universe???
Anyway, I have to go off and barf now. We can leave the universe for later. Ugh!

Fine ... Once those truant children we call Senators get their li'l heinies back to school, the bill can be voted on, become law, and be challenged legally on Constitutional grounds. Until then, that ridiculously smart liberal attorney is just spitting into the wind.

Don't know about Wisconsin, but I believe in California, no legislature can
obligate any future legislature to spend public moneys, or to refrain from spending public moneys.
Otherwise, why not pass a law that says that the next three budgets shall be paid for by the 2015-2016 legislature?
Cool huh?
Problems solved.

I hope the Governor will quickly de-fund the attorney’s office.

Wisconsin has its share of socialists. In both Milwaukee and Madison. That’s why this crap is so intense here.

No, no, no. State law SUPERSEDES home rule and not vice versa. In non-home rule cities, those localities have to petition the state to allow them to collect user-specific taxes and fees. A home rule entity can bypass going to the state and just impose new, user-specific taxes and fees. Example: The city wants to collect an additional 0.5% hotel, motel, restaurant sales tax to fund its metro center.
Conversely, if the state imposes new taxes and fees across the state, home rule cities cannot “opt out” of collecting them.
I don't know where this attorney got his training, but he ought to be fired or sue the institution that taught him for educational malpractice.
