WI Dem Assemblyman Admits He Threatened Republican Colleagues
The Weekly Standard ^ | February 28, 2011 | John McCormack

Posted on 03/01/2011 3:20:27 AM PST by Scanian

On Monday, Milwaukee AM 620 WTMJ radio host Charlie Sykes detailed an encounter between Democratic State Rep. Gordon Hintz, who had previously been busted in a prostitution sting, and Republican State Rep. Michelle Litjens, in which the rules of civility were completely ignored after a vote to “engross” a state budget repair bill.

“After the vote to engross, he turns to a female conservative Republican, who is also from the Oshkosh area, looks at her and says, ‘You are f—ing dead,’” Sykes said. “He didn’t say ‘f—ing,’ he said the whole thing. He says to a female colleague, ‘You are f—ing dead.’”

There isn't audio of the incident, but Allahpundit points out Democratic assemblyman Hintz admitted he cursed out his GOP colleagues, though "he would not confirm his exact comments."

“I believe my response was shock. The only way they were going to pass this bill was by ignoring and shredding rules of the Assembly,” Hintz said. “I apologized (Monday) when I learned my comments may have been taken personally by someone.”

What is it with Democrats and prostitutes? Or does like attract like?

The big mistake the Republican woman made was not recording the comment so it could be played on every conservative radio/TV show for a few days.

I know you didn't mean it that way but your statement suggests that the Republican woman was at fault because she didn't have a recording device engaged.
How's she supposed to do that? Is this what it's coming to? And what would it prove if she recorded the incident?
Isn't Rham Emanuel Mayor Elect of Chicago? He said the same thing on camera.

Assembly Dems obstructed by offering faux amendments for 60 STRAIGHT HOURS, while their cohorts in the Senate cower illegally in Illinois to avoid voting at all and this guy talks about shredding rules????

Elections have consequences. The rat made a death threat. She should have been in fear for her life and shot the b*stard in the head. He had made his intent known, and in front of witnesses.

Here's a solution to the deadlock in the Senate.

Move the 19 Republican Senators to the hotel where the rats are staying.
Call the session to order and ask for a roll call.
For each Democrat who is known to be in the hotel and will not answer the call, the chair can DEEM them in attendance and the discussion and vote can proceed.

Under the rules of assembly, the Senators who refuse to acknowledge their presence, can then be charged with ethics violations and either censured or expelled.

Is there no Constitutional requirement that the business of the state must be done within the borders of the state?

I read the article about Hintz’s arrest. It does not say if he was paying for sex. I suspect that he was being paid for sex; supplementing his income by working at Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor.

Oh heck, Maybe it was on cnn, no, I know, it was that skinny, ugly guy on msnbc at 9:00 PM.

This little ugly guy was real upset that a man would talk like that to a woman...then I woke up.

Apparently the perverted jerk never got the memo about “toning down the rhetoric”. Oh, yeah; I forgot. That only pertains to conservatives in this double-standard environment.

The WI Constitution says assembly at the seat of government. But that still begs the question of what parliamentarian rules they abide by.

I did find this little tidbit.

Each house shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members; and a majority of each shall constitute a quorum to do business, but a smaller number may adjourn from day to day, and may compel the attendance of absent members in such manner and under such penalties as each house may provide.

I know...I just couldn’t resist throwing in the “Hummjob” part for “Tough Tony” Weiner.

If I had to come up with a tag for Huma, I think I’d go with “A hank of hair and a bag of bones.”

I wonder if evenly dividing between them the money their fleeing has cost the taxpayer would be an appropriate penalty? Seems only fair...

A more fitting end would be to hold ALL their pay in escrow for however many years they will be in office to supplement paying for the costs incurred.

Then they really would be serving at the peoples discretion.

I thought of something supplemental to what I said.

The 14 should be the ones to hand out the pink slips when the state has to start layoffs. Then they would have a real chance to apologize to the workers.
