"A man deputies found with crack in his buttocks was arrested after a drug sniffing dog noted a 'narcotic odor coming from his rear,' according to a recently released St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office report.

. . .

"The deputy believed he felt something tube-like in Colbert's caboose. A drug sniffing dog was brought in, and the deputy got a 'positive alert for the presence of narcotic odor coming from his rear,' a report states.

"A deputy extracted the tube from the 'crack of Colbert's buttocks' and found 12 crack cocaine rocks. Deputies also found $145 on Colbert.

I feel bad for the dog. I suppose he’s probably smelled worse things.

How can that be illegal? This has to be a hoax! Everyone in our family has a crack in their buttocks and we're planning to take the kids down to Florida during their spring break. Now I'm not so sure.

Dogs seem to like to sniff butts. Is $145 a lot of money, enough to raise suspicion?

One more time, deputies. Correlation does not equal causation. He most likely had a crack in his butt before your dog sniffed it.

Were they expecting to find anything but crack in a buttock?

This probably made the copy editor’s whole year to be able to write that article’s title.

Who would want to take or buy the drugs? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

At least the drugs were in a tube. Many people buy rocks of cocaine directly from somebody’s mouth (no telling where they were stored previously). Police do carry gloves.
