As gas prices rose in 2008, network reporters mentioned President Bush in 15 times as many stories than they brought up President Obama in a similar period in 2011.Bush drew gallons of coverage in 2008. Comparing a 20-day span of rising gas prices in 2008 to 24 days of rising prices in February 2011, the Business & Media Institute found the networks did more than 2 ½ times as many stories during the Bush years versus Obama.(Snip)The national average for gasoline hit $3.36 on Feb. 28, the highest ever for the month of February according to The Associated Press.

Well, his policies may be having an effect since they ARE somewhat different.
Well, you know of course that Bush was just driving up gas prices to help his “oil buddies” and Halliburton. Which would hurt the economy, as ALL presidents like to do, really good to help re-election prospects. At the same time he went to Iraq to “steal” their oil, which would increase supply and drive prices DOWN. I wish I was a liberal so I could understand their “logic”.

Speaking of Halliburton, I thought it was funny that the left kept thinking Dick Cheney was “profiting” from the Iraq war, when he divested his shares before he became VP. So, according to liberal thought Cheney was sending our military to Iraq to help.... uh, not himself, but uh... Bob in accounting at Halliburton?
