Libyan rebels are begging for the international community to establish a no fly zone in the skies over Libya. One soldier in the rebellion called upon the President of the United States to come to the aid of the Libyan people.

Not, however, the sitting President:

"'Bring Bush! Make a no fly zone, bomb the planes,' shouted soldier-turned-rebel Nasr Ali, referring to a no-fly zone imposed on Iraq in 1991 by then U.S. President George Bush."

Tell the rebels we haven’t finished or paid for the two wars we are in now. In the meantime we regret that we don’t have any more lives to give to be world policeman.

When the world needs a leader....

Don't even think of the "one"

The previous one works better.

Well, we could always withdraw from Europe and Japan. That war is SO over.

It does not fit into the communist's agenda.

bomb the planes,' shouted soldier-turned-rebel Nasr Ali,

Dude, that's the soldier-turned-rebel's job!

Stop standing around yelling for Uncle Infidel and start with the blowing up stuff.

When the world needs a leader.................... Who do ya call? I bet Obama has called Bush for advice and the answer was “No my Job man, you deal with it and accept the blame”.

Watch for a slew of op-eds from Krugman and the rest saying this proves that in the Middle East Bush = US = War, and Obama is just working so hard to change that impression. I’m sure Joy Behar and Whoopi will have the spin, too.

And, seems the whole world knows that, Libya did not call for Zero, he knows he's busy partying & has no clue! OH HOW I MISS PRESIDENT BUSH!

At least we felt safe when he was at the helm AND we know Bush loves this country & (has a birth certificate)!!!!!

I bet Obama has called Bush for advice and the answer was “No my Job man, you deal with it and accept the blame”.

I doubt that this call would happen, my FRiend, unfortunately for us.

Obama, the (apparent) malignant narcissist, likely thinks he knows better than anyone, and has no interest in letting President Dubya look like the sage and brave person he is.

Mister Obama seems always on the verbal attack v President Dubya, and if the news ever got out that Mister Obama sought counsel and advice from President Dubya, the loss of face could, I think, be a major downer.

That said, the news reports of "bring Bush" might be a bit ego crushing, in themselves, eh?

All these people love America to react to their cause. After we sacrifice our blood, they turn on us.

Sorry folks, we are no longer willing to sacrifice our own for your sake.

Why is it they believe we are that dumb that we will continue to fight for their individual causes?

Just been thinking, the folks in Libya appear completely different from the Egyptians, and you sort of get the impression that this is Bush’s fault, that he planted the seed of Democracy and the people actually heard it, God Bless George Bush.

If this is his fault, then we will miss his insight, his leadership, and his moral compass as the country (US/Wisconsin/Ohio, etc.) now seems to be out of control and the people need to wake up to what is going on...

Thank you GWB, from a homesick Texan

Recall if you will that there is trust there, with W.

After the Brits met with the son, They called us in and all the Libyan nuclear stuff (and I think the Iraqi stuff held in trust) was removed to Oak Ridge.
