Bounty Hunter Offers Services to Find "Missing" Lawmakers
6:04 p.m. PST, February 25, 2011
SACRAMENTO A Sacramento bounty hunter is offering his services to track down Democratic Lawmakers from Wisconsin.
The lawmakers have reportedly fled to neighboring Illinois to delay a vote on a bill that would cut public employee benefits and take away collective bargaining rights. The bill was suggested by Governor Scott Walker to help the state of Wisconsin balance their budget. But it has split the legislature along party lines, and Democrats fled the state last week to boycott the bill.
Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla says he is willing to hunt down the Democratic lawmakers and bring them back to Wisconsin. "I don't know if they need to be handcuffed to their chair, or just in the state. But I said we can get the job done," Padilla says.
Padilla is waiting to hear if Governor Walker will deputize him and give him the go-ahead to track down the lawmakers.

Now there are warrants out for them, if or when they are arrested and brought back, what is the charge?
Hoping to see a FELONY charge in there somewhere.
Hunting Down RATS - Wisconsin. HDR-W. Hunting Down RATS - Indiana. HDR-I. Hunting Down RATS - Texas. HDR-T.
This could be series.
You’re probably right about that but it might be worth it just to see that anyway.
there’s also a 6 month pregnant Dem on the run, as per the Fox Nation thread last night. Just offer her a warm bed, and it’s game over. ONE DEM is all that’s needed.
Yep. I think the Wisconsin AG needs to look into just how these AWOL Senators have been getting by. I’ll bet you at least one of them has been stupid/careless enough to accept a gift over the nominal limits. (eg. a motel room for the night, multiple meals, use of a vehicle, laundry service, cell phone/internet service etc.)
So, you would leave Baby Lyssa behind?
I wish they’d stop calling her Baby.
She’s great. I’ve enjoyed that show for a lot of years.
Bein’ a gal and all, I like Duane Lee best. I have to LOL at some of Beth’s get-ups. Her and Dog could do with a make over. Lose some of that over bleached hair, some classier clothing. But hey, they are what they are and that’s OK. I like the way they pray as a family. They’re doin’ something right. God bless ‘em.
Yeah, of course we can’t really get The Dog.
I needed a sarcasm tag.
They wouldn’t trade Hawaii for WI anyway. It was a 24 degrees for a high temp yesterday, around 12 degrees last night. We had some melting a few days ago and now it all froze and everything is an ice field. Even the snow is icy on top.
Oh it’s lovely! Paging AlGore to the white courtesy phone! Al! Al?
That is so funny, they are ALL STUPID and CARELESS, but when does that ever stop a Dem from breaking a law.
Why, a Rep and a Dem. could be in store, both steal something in full view of the police/security. Guess which one goes to jail?? hahahahaha.
Laws?? They never apply to a Democrat, but we can keep hoping that ONE DAY.........
A frozen Dawg is a bad Dawg. (I just made that up.)
Duh, obviously you don’t go after her.
All he needs to bring back is ONE of them. Hogtie one of them and haul their ass back up here. Just get one of the guys.
Could they also get a US marshal?Raylan Givens U.S. Marshal *Justified* (the best show on television)
Yeahbut, he shoots everyone. Will that really work? (Oh, and Justified will take a bump downward once Breaking Bad gets back on the air.)
Well then, if that is so, wouldn’t they have to give up their senate seat? Impeachment? They would not be able to vote on anything as a Felon.
“Bein a gal and all, I like Duane Lee best...”
I would have to say that Leeland is my favorite (notice how Dog always sends Leeland in first) :-)
It’s been fun watching Lyssa grow into a real bounty hunter.
I am always a little amused by the prayers followed shortly by, “Don’t move mother !##*er!!!
Yeahbut, he shoots everyone. Not lately, not enough.
Justified will take a bump downward once Breaking Bad gets back on the air.)Never heard of it...
"You want to find an outlaw, hire an outlaw....You want to find a Dunkin Donuts, call a cop."
That would be so cool, especially the part where he tries to counsel them just before he drops them off at the Capital building!
