Despite claims to the contrary from state Democratic officials, the recall efforts against eight Republican Senators could be coordinated by workers from Washington, DC, the MacIver News Service has learned.
“These aren’t being run by national operatives,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chairman Mike Tate on the statewide UpFront with Mike Gousha television program. “This is not some prefabbed, manufactured effort.”
However the MacIver News Service has obtained a recruitment advertisement which solicited applicants from the Washington, DC area for the positions of “Field Organizers” for the Wisconsin Recalls.
The ad, for the Madison-based “Wisconsin Progress ” organization, was listed on the website of The Brad Traverse Group.
The Traverse site, operated out of Falls Church, Va, bills itself as “the leading resource for anyone seeking a job on Capitol Hill and off the Hill in the fields of government affairs, public affairs and communications.”
Although Tate asserted the recalls were organic and outside interests from Madison and Washington, DC were merely assisting with the efforts, the Wisconsin Progress advertisement says the duties for the positions include, but are not limited to: “Execute a field operation in a targeted state senate district–Manage a volunteer effort to collect recall signatures–Operate and Manage phonebank–Implement mass canvassing operations–Outreach to other progressive organizations to recruit volunteers–Data Management.”
The Justice Dept should launch a RICO investigation against the unions, Obama, and the FleeBagger 14. OOOPPPSSS, I forgot, Holder is probably in on this too. I am sure Eric is probably talking to 'his people' in the New Black Panther Party to see if they can provide some 'poll watchers' for the recall elections.
These people disgust me, the MSM that covers for them disgust me, and the sheeple in this country who don't want to see what this group is doing to our country disgust me as well.
I think they’ve relocated a bunch of ACORN operatives to my voting district in Newton, MA. The mayor Setti Warren is an 0bot running for Scott Brown’s Senate seat. I think these ACORN low renters will be voting for Setti against Brown, then moving back to Harlem afterwards.

I have heard on WISN that Organizing for America, the Obama Campaign, and the DNC are sending in operatives to help in the recall efforts. They are also sending in union operatives, remnants of ACORN, and other 527 groups.
Sorry, but it looks to me like your fellow citizens in Wisconsin are very likely to vote to recall some of the Senate Republicans - and not recall any of the fleebagging Democrats. I simply don't believe the majority of people in Wisconsin care one iota if the national Democrat party funds the efforts or not.
Virtually every Wisconsin poll gauging approval for Walker and the Republicans are terrible. The public seems to support the unions and Democrats on this so far. The Governor and Wisconsin Republicans seriously need to conduct a better PR campaign.
While I 100% support this bill, why are we continuing this same strategy day after day? At some point, shouldn't the bill have been broken up and passed in pieces - at least get the stuff through that we didn't need Wisconsin Senate Democrats for? At the rate public approval for Walker is deteriorating, it seems clear to me the fleebagger Dems really can just wait things out in Illinois - even if they have to stay away for months. The majority of Wisconsinites appear utterly hopeless when it comes to tackling these corrupt public employee unions.

I disagree completely with your assesment. The polling is dependant on the way the questions are phrased. For example, the people say they support the teachers right to collectively bargain. But if you ask them if teachers should pay more for their insurance and health benefits, the people say they support that too. The two things are contradictory. The union hacks say they will accept the health and pension changes, but are rushing to get new contracts passed before the bill passes.

This week, the mayor of Milwaukee asked the police and fire fighters to accept the same health and pension changes that Walker is requiring from state workers and teachers. The police and ifre union told Mayor Barrett to pound sand, they ain’t paying anything more for their benies. The mSM has been savaging our Governor and it is no wonder the polls are bad.
They did the same thing to Reagan, and he recovered. Walker has over 90% approval from his base, and he will recover. The Rats may recall one or two Republican state senators, but they will have two Rats recalled as well. Wirch in Kenosha is toast, and Hansen in Green Bay may be as well. The support for the FleeBaggers is overstated.

Agreed to some extend, the wording of the question makes all the difference - but it seems clear the public is with the unions on the collective bargaining pieces. And how do you get around the fact that when asked who the public supports in this fight, Walker or the Democrats, the Democrats come out ahead in every poll of Wisconsinites I've seen.

Perhaps. I'd love to believe your right, but not long into this I had a sense of which way public sympathies were going and I think I've turned out to be completely correct. I think part of the reason Walker and the GOP are reeling a bit is because there was an assumption the general public would not be sympathetic to unions. Instead much of the public has rallied around the union mob protesters - and to some extent the fleebaggers. The left has been, to a great extent I believe, able to piggy back on the pro-democracy (or so we are told) protesters in North Africa and the Middle East. Since, in general, the public is supportive of the Egyptian, Tunisian, etc, protesters, that support has somewhat carried over the the union protesters who use firefighters in uniform and what appear to be regular, middle class teachers as props.

I do think Walker and the GOP must hold strong. Their peak unpopularity will be during this fight. Once it is done, they will likely rebound quite nicely. The problem is, as best I can tell, there is literally no way to resolve this situation and get a win. The Wisconsin Senate Dems can literally stay away till the recall elections can't they? As best I can tell (and I don't buy the idea this vacancy after 30 day rule will allow us to replace them) these fleebaggers can simply stay away till public opposition to the tactic turns decidedly against them - and so far it simply hasn't.
It never ceases to amaze me when Republicans act all surprised to discover that Democrats play hardball. The effete Republican "leaders" just don't understand why they are getting their face slapped over and over again.

When the DC communists set foot in Wisconsin, make sure you have a welcoming committee to escort these carpetbaggers back across state lines.
The recall movement that is farthest along in Wisconsin right now is that of Bob Wirch of Kenosha. The recall orgainzers have over 1/3 of needed signatures after less than two weeks. Each Senate District is composed of 3 Assembly districts. I think Walker won Wirch’s district with 56% of the vote and two of the assembly districts are represented by Republicans. In Northern Wisconsin, the numbers were even higher in Holperins (d) district. All three assembly districts are represented by Republicans and Walker won 57% of vote in his Senate district.
EVERY Republican up for recall represents a senate district that went for Walker by at least 53-47. Even though outsiders might have trouble sifting the numbers, the Republicans actually have advantages in the recall elections based on the Nov 10 election numbers.

Since you are on the ground in Wisconsin and seem to know what is going on, what do you think the outcome of this is going to be?
I have a difficult time getting around many of these incredibly negative polls. It really doesn’t look to me that there is much, if any, real pressure for the fleebaggers to return and the longer this is being drawn out the more damage appears to be inflicted on Walker and the GOP. So I would be interested in hearing your take on how it will all realistically end.
It’s unreal isn’t it? Right now, the Republicans hold ALL OF THE CARDS and refuse to play them. They are still afraid someone will throw the dreaded race card. The white DemocRATS have ruined that for the liberals by playing it all of the time. I’m numb to being called a racist just because I’m an American, a conservative and a TEA Party member. It just doesn’t work with me anymore. (Although it never really did).
