I am a Cardinal alum but find this news sad and disappointing. Admission standards or not, Stanford’s reputation is now tarnished by athletic dept encouraging athletes to take Mick courses.
One Summer at Oregon I took Production Workshop. Come to every class and help build and paint sets for the drama department and get four hours of “A”. The place was full of horny girls and few straight men. I was there so much they hired me. By the end of the Summer I had my “A” and a nice paycheck...not to mention some really great memories.
Kudos for being a squeeky clean school that has a good year every other decade.
“Figures. Everythings a scam nowdays folks. Probably even this announcement that the secret list is being abolished, is a scam.”
This stuff has been around forever. In 1968 at FSU they had one class for the football players called “Trucks and Trains” My friend somehow got registered for it and he said it was third grade. Easiest “A” he ever got.
Rowle Tyde!
California is allowing RACIST motivated policies in their schools??
