Juan Williams Livid Over NPR Sting
Fox Nation ^ | 3/9/2011

Posted on 03/09/2011 11:43:28 AM PST by GVnana

Former NPR commentator Juan Williams spoke exclusively to FoxNation.com about the NPR sting video, which captured NPR senior executive Ron Schiller in a bigoted and revealing rant about conservatives, Jews and the American taxpayer. “This was an act of incredible condescension,” said Williams. “The rank hypocrisy of his remarks was telling for me. They will say things to your face about how there’s no liberal orthodoxy at NPR, how they play it straight, but now you see it for what it is. They prostitute themselves for money.”

The title implies Juan was upset over the way O’Keefe got the video. However, Juan was referring to the content not the method of the interview.

These anti-Jew, anti-Christian, anti-American bigots fired Williams for 'insensitivity to muslims'.

These were your ideological fellow travelers Juan. Perhaps its time to rethink your entire worldview.

And I find it nearly impossible to imagine that Juan did not know any of this during the years he worked at NPR.

What liberals say to safe audiences.

I was at my favorite Italian restaurant one night when a group of teachers sat next to us. One of the fat cows was complaining about the Jesus freaks in her class. I was half way out of my chair when my wife touched my arm and said don’t.

On the way out, I caught the witches eyes and pointed to myself and mouthed “Jesus freak” and made the Robert DeNiro, I got my eye on you finger pointing.

I felt better.

Juan Williams has been a hypocrite all his adult life..
A hypocrite being outraged by hypocrisy is almost humorous..
Williams has a lot common with Alan Colmes..

Liberals are always shocked when the true face of their fellows is revealed.

In most countries, it is too late when they wake up to this reality.

Bingo! I never forget when I'm watching him on Fox News that he is the "token" liberal. He would have no voice on Fox News, but to give rise to the "fair and balanced" charade.

Maybe off topic, but the Mrs. and I are SO ready for a conservative news channel. Forget the bulls**#t (which includes Bill O'Reilly and the never-ending dribble from Bob Beckle ...and a host of others). Can't somebody just give us the news from a clear conservative viewpoint?

Have you listened to Juan over the years. He is the typical Lib who has this fantasy about how the world works. All fantasy based, little in reality. He really thinks the Rats are just out to help people, not use them for political power.

I remember being in a similar scenario where the public employees were complaining about conservatives and assuming all republicans are knuckle dragging, gun toting, “jesus freaks”. The upshot was that they were crying like they were under personal attack because they could not figure out how to silence those opposed to their pro-government control views.

They felt very safe being loud and obnoxious with their anti-american anti-constitution group think session.

I’ve always liked Juan because he is his own person. This does not mean I have always agreed with him. (His son, Antonio, is a registered Republican.)

I always have a good laugh to myself when I remember his father was a boxing coach. Certainly this means his father taught him the finer elements of boxing. Therefore, if Juan gets angry enough, he could rearrange anybody’s face (or more) in a nanosecond.

Nah, Juan is ALWAYS black first, a liberal second, "me" third, and an A lister party invitee fourth.

Anything "American" is farther down the list.

He would, however, stop for a conservative gal, if she was carrying a baby,......and in a crosswalk.

True. Meanwhile.....

ICE Intel chief suspended in fraud probe

Snips: James M. Woosley was ICE's deputy director of intelligence at headquarters in Washington until he was placed on administrative leave Feb. 4. His suspension came the same day the FBI raided the El Paso home of Ahmed Adil Abdallat, a supervisory ICE intelligence analyst, and seized at least 29 boxes of evidence.

Abdallat is accused of using a diplomatic passport to make eight personal trips to Jordan since October 2007, and receiving about $123,000 in reimbursements from phony travel expenses. He is also the subject of a larger money laundering investigation after he made three wire transfers worth a combined $570,000 to Jordan over a six month period, according to the FBI. Authorities also linked Abdallat to an additional $1.2 million in Jordanian bank accounts.

Point made.

Herein though lies the dilemma, ALL of us are biased, to varying degrees. It is the denial of this that drives me crazy.

I can suggest anyone interested in this read "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell to see studies of how this bias has affected previous elections. The point is, none of us are completely neutral.

Walter Cronkite was the first obvious liberal presenting the evening news and the way in which he presented the Viet Nam War probably directly affected the outcome of that war. I believe things have gone steadily downhill (well, to the left) ever since.

Woodward and Bernstein furthered this leftward move of journalism in the vilification of President Nixon, and I don't think we've ever come back to anything near the center since. In my mind, that even includes Fox News (Shep Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Gretta Van Sustern as examples).
