President Barack Obama isn't afraid to show a little hometown pride, especially when it comes to sports.
On Wednesday night, Obama will continue that tradition while watching the Bulls-Bobcats game at a viewing party at the White House.
And this is just the latest event Obama is dedicating to his Chicago teams.
At 2 p.m. Friday at the White House, Obama will honor the Blackhawks for their 2009-2010 Stanley Cup victory. The president invited the team to Washington, D.C., for a ceremony and a children's street hockey clinic on the South Lawn.
Obama's allegiances seem clear. Remember the 2009 MLB All-Star game? Obama threw out the first pitch wearing a black White Sox training jacket. The toss cleared the plate, with a little help from St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols.
Earlier this year, Obama predicted a win for the Bears in their post-season game against the Green Bay Packers.
His team didn't win -- but it's the thought that counts, right?
The Bulls tip off against the Charlotte Bobcats at 6 p.m. central time.

I read today that his poll numbers haven’t really gone down in 6 months. What the hell is wrong with people ? ANYONE with half a brain has to see what this ass clown is trying to do . I have to believe that %47 of Americans are Marxist/ Socialist then .

Oh, Good Grief! The US debt is escalating, the Mid East is about to blow sky high, gas and food prices are heading up, up, up, and this jerk just wants to party, party, party. It’s reminding me more and more of Nero and his fiddle.
People benefiting from the current system will back Obama to the death.

By the way, today is Ash Wednesday, perhaps the Obama was just to busy to receive ashes in accordance with his “Christian” faith. Forget it, parties take a lot of time and preparation and MONEY!!!
I am not sure but I think when he was wearing his mama jeans he threw far left.
