Look. Let's simplify this. The Union Thugs will NEVER, EVER allow open debate because they would lose. Why confront these violent morons? The public is quite clear on what they are doing. Obama's support among independents has fallen from 46% to 31% since this issue hit the national media.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was once a member of the National Writers Union, which is sponsored by Local 1981 of the UAW. I believed that they could help freelance writers get better recognition. After several years of getting their local newsletter encouraging work stopages "until we get the money and respect we deserve," and having monthly communist cell meetings, the NWU revealed itself to be a loud-mouthed proponent of stopping any speech with which they disagreed. I quit.
