Pedophile Cult leader convicted for "Satanic" rape campaign
Guardian- Press Association ^ | March 10, 2011

A man has been found guilty of leading a "satanic" sex cult from his home in a small Welsh town. Colin Batley, 48, of Kidwelly, west Wales, presided over a group that preyed on young children and held occult rites.

He was found guilty at Swansea crown court of rape and carrying out perverted sexual acts on children and adults.

Batley was the self-styled high priest of the group, which operated from a series of homes in a cul-de-sac in the seaside town.

He and five other alleged members insisted throughout the five-week trial that no cult had ever existed. But the jury dismissed that, finding him guilty of more than two dozen acts of sexual perversion linked to his activities in the cult.

Well the article didn’t really give much insight about the evidence against the “cult” members so I’m a bit skeptical about the whole thing. I’ve seen too many people in the US screwed by the “justice” system and “satanic cults raping children” hysteria to just believe these kinds of charges any more. I strongly suspect that these guys may be the victim of an out of control prosecutor rather than the perpetrator of these “crimes”.

You are exactly correct. The “satanic ritual abuse” hoax has run its course in the USA, but maybe not over there. Scared people can believe anything.

I wonder what sort of sentence he’ll get. Sometimes it seems like the Euroweenies aren’t very serious about this. I bet its less than 20 years.

Batley wore a hooded robe and read passages from occultist Aleister Crowley’s “The Book of the Law” before attacking the youngsters at his home

The convicted cult members — who all had identical tattoos of the Egyptian Eye of Horus — were due to be sentenced Friday.

some lines from this article -

http://www.metro.co.uk/news/857692-satanic-cult-leader-facing-jail-for-child-rapes

The 48-year-old self-styled high priest would begin the sordid rituals by reading from The Book Of The Law, written more than a century ago by occultist Aleister Crowley.

The readings were used as a form of brainwashing and Batley would then order hooded cult members to have sex, ensuring it was filmed.

He bred rottweilers from his home to earn money but kept two for personal safety, which were named after ancient Egyptian royalty.

Batley also bred cats, which were given occult names, before his arrest in summer last year.

Raping young children? Not much to say other than this “Satanic Priest” Batley is going to get his wish and meet Satan one day, although not soon since the UK doesn’t have the death penalty.

I bet the death penalty is administered in the UK prison system for child molesters/murders the way that it is in US prisons.

I used to think the same thing until I read “The Franklin Coverup” which was written by John DeCamp a former member of the Nebraska legislature who had to investigate the mess in his home state tied to similar accusations. The book is controversial because it is linked to Bush senior and the only child abuse case that went to court was kicked out as a hoax. There was enough stuff in the book to question the court ruling (powerful people stomp on the little guy type behavior). Especially compelling was the testimony of a criminal expert who briefed the Nebraska Senate that these type of cases were not uncommon and occurred more frequently than the public thought.

I would argue that satanic rape (of liberty) is the Democrat Party’s entire political platform.

Thanks. Skeptical here, but it looks interesting.

Most FReepers aren't even aware of the 80s atrocities and go into witch-hunt mode. Makes me sick. You know the Lefties don't care.

Thanks! I'll check that out. ;)
