Capitol Chaos: Senate Dems Glad to be Home
Story Created: Mar 11, 2011

WISCONSIN - For the first time in three weeks, Today's TMJ4 was able to interview a Senate Democrat who was actually in Wisconsin at the time.

"I'm really excited to be home," says Senator Lena Taylor.

Taylor is among the Democrats who have come back to Wisconsin after being out of state for three weeks trying to slow down the legislative process on Governor Walker's budget repair bill.

"I think people are geared up and ready to speak to the recalls and speak to January 2012."

**SNIP**

Senator Chris Larson says "We'll be marching to the Capitol and then we'll be speaking to thank the protestors."

Larson did not rule out using the tactic of fleeing the state to slow down legislation in the future - however other senators think that particular tactic should not be used often.

All 14 Senate Democrats will be in Madison on Saturday for a rally.

Should be some good times. "Hold muh beer. Our plan failed and we lost! Whoo hoo! Let's do it again!"

We need to get the state Senate in session, call a quorum and never officially recess. Otherwise the 14 Democrats may try to flee again. The unions will be using the courts to try to stop the bill. Already the Wisconsin Secretary of State has refused to officially print it into law till March 24, and in the meantime the leftists are filing a blizzard of lawsuits making all sorts of claims as to the new laws constitutionality. All it takes is one liberal judge to throw it out. We need to be ready for this possibility.

Walker should call a special session starting on Monday to force the rats to vote on the budget bill. The state still needs a budget bill to avoid a meltdown.

21 days, at least $300/day x 14 fleabaggers....... $60K+. Who paid their per diem? Did they put it on their personal creedit card and then meet union thugs in the parking lot with bags of cash?

Well I hope Tramp Taylor enjoyed having to go to the governor’s office to get her paycheck.

12,000 goverment workers could have been laid off, they would not come back, but now that they lost what big union wanted, having workers to be in union and the state to collect dues for union, they come back!

They are all in the back pocket of union international bosses!

The minute the Dems hit the Capitol, Republicans should declare that the senate is in session and vote on the financial bills.

My dad keeps getting calls from the union up in Green Bay - “you’ve won an all-expenses paid vacation to Madison” he calls them.

If they’re frantically calling retired machinists in their 70’s to march, they’re really pouring on the pathetic.

His take is why trot around with a pack of college kids to protect the “rights” of teachers and school boards to continue committing fraud?

They need to keep at least one of them in a straight jacket, sedated, and never to leave the building. I haven't seen anything that says the quorum has to be made up of lucid members...

Besides, they have already demonstrated that even "lucid" does not mean rational.

That question has yet to be addressed. Are these yet-to-be-employed college punks potential union thugs? Or are they there just for the free pizza?
