The Mayor called Obama? Really? I doubt that Obama has time to make all these decisions. You give Obama way too much credit. The last two Presidents were incredible with there abilities to get things done. I was commenting on the mentality of government workers and leftists in 2011.

Just think: we have reached a point in this country where our government is actually talking to us and treating us like this!

This mayor wants us to the think he's non-partisan? Give me a break.

If the story was reversed - if it were a Tea Party Mayor trying to stop the unions from recalling a Republican Senator the narrative of this story would be very, very different - and everyone knows it.

Obama doesn’t have time to do anything but golf, and groove at the White Hut. Meanwhile, W. graciously picks up the slack for him.

Example: Obama won’t meet with our Eagle Scouts, won’t send them the presidential letter, etc, but W. has been doing it (thankfully). Our last Eagles got their letters from W., after getting the cold shoulder from the White House.

In addition, say what you will about W. (and I disagree with many of his policies), he has the class to actually come out here and meet with our Eagles at Judson College.

Our boys were at first upset that Obama would not recognize their achievements (even Clinton did), but were soon glad he didn’t, because W. took up the mantle, and is doing what our current POTUS will not.

Obama is too busy.
