As World Burns, Obama Tapes NCAA Basketball Brackets For ESPN Today
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 | Kristinn

Posted on 03/15/2011 7:04:38 AM PDT by kristinn

An uncritical one line report in Mike Allen's 'Playbook' column at Politico this morning says:

"PRESIDENT OBAMA is taping his NCAA picks today, and they’ll be revealed tomorrow on ESPN."

With our top Asian ally Japan facing an economic meltdown on top of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear plant crises--an economic meltdown that is already affecting the U.S. and global economies; with the Middle East in flames; with the U.S. government on the verge of bankruptcy; with the U.S. still involved in two wars, Barack Obama is focused on being the cool guy with the jocks in school by being filmed picking his NCAA men's basketball tournament picks.

This guy obamma sees his presidency as a way to enjoy himself. He does not want to be bothered by what happens to others. And world problems are far removed from him. Golf has become an obsession with him and the parties cannot stop!

Chaos reigns and Zero is watching B-ball.

He looks out at the rioting and flames and smiles at his creations.

It fits. Yesterday's American Thinker article "Barack Obama: A Management Appraisal" says he is an "abdicative manager":

In classic management theory, Barack Obama would have to be described as an abdicative manager. The abdicative manager evidences a tendency to flee from responsibility and is frequently encountered in situations where he or she never wanted the job in the first place (for instance, a son or daughter who inherits a company or the individual who discovers that they are incapable of adequate performance). Abdication can be exhibited in a variety of ways, ranging from physically removing oneself through travel (the confusion of movement with action), to obsessing about personal interests or a limited range of controllable subjects.

Obama's frequent vacations and absences, especially in times of crisis, coupled with his unwillingness to personally invest himself in key initiatives, are demonstrative of this style.

Run away, Brock, run away!

World burning during March Madness inconveniences 0h0m0llah. However, he has time to make sure that one of “his people,” Manning, is comfortable in jail and that Manning’s self-esteem is at all-time high.
