You got that right. No mention of this on our local Chicago news. Just a cheery announcement that our gas prices are on the way down—they were down “one cent” today. Unbelievable....they will do anything to cover for this guy.
At this point, I think I would take Carter over Obama, at least Carter was trying to make things better. Obama is more interested in playing golf and vacationing then governing. Obama sucks as a leader and he knows it and doesn’t care. I guess he thinks “It is good go be the King”.
Disconnect goes beyond words.
Obama’s learned from last year. He’s planned speeches and trade meetings on this trip to account for his time.
I thought they just got back from skiing,..after a trip to Spain, after a trip to somewhere else.
They spend more time out of the country on vacation than in it. It’s almost as if he isn’t a US citizen.

What was portrayed as “coolness” during the campaign has proven to be a weird detachment from what is going on. The statements he reads from his teleprompter are delivered with a complete lack of any presence in the moment. He could be reading a recipe. Then he goes off on another vacation....Very strange indeed!

President Obama does this traveling so that at the first moment the Republicans show intestinal fortitude and take a position, he can be said to have returned from afar to deal with the matter personally, at great expense to the taxpayer!.

How many did GW take? I keep getting flashes of GW with a chainsaw/work gloves/jeans, clearing brush on his ranch. That’s work, even if called a vacation.
Obama and his chillun jet around the world, lay in luxury, and spend taxpayers dollars... all while Japan melts down, Libya melts down, the rest of the Middle East grows worse, and so on...
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Obama will not be the Dem candidate in the general election in 2012. They will find a face-saving way out for him, but he will be out. No donors will squander funds on a long-shot re-election bid, and the other Dems “down the ticket” from him don’t want to be sacrificed as their comrades were in 2009 & 2010.
Re-elect Carter/Mondale 2012!!
