The only way for D-idiots to maintain power is to expand the permanent underclass.

Thus they endeavor to kill jobs, kill industry, make the citizenery weak and helpless.

Those that are not under their yoke are going to put them in the dustbin of history.

North Dakota has about 3% unemployment right now.

North Dakota???!!!!

And just why is that?

Because they are drilling and producing. NO OTHER REASON!

These two idiots are truly amazing....they despise America and they have to be pounded into oblivion (politically speaking).

“Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.) said that increasing oil drilling “off the coast” is “a problem, not a solution” to creating jobs in the United States.”

Tell that to North Dakota, idiot.

Gee let me get this straight...if American companies drill for oil off the coast of America, using American workers and the oil goes to American refineries and is distributed to American consumers this is bad and costs American jobs. However, buying oil from foreign countries where it is drilled by foreign workers, transported in foreign ships and sold to US refineries at prices set by the OPEC cartel this is good and somehow adds jobs to the US economy. Is this the Twilight Zone or Bizzaro World?

I just called his office and told his staffer that I will support whomever is running against him in 2012.

This is why the Moonbats needs to be cleansed from office.

I just heard on Rush today that the US granted Petrobas the ability to drill and have an underwater storage container for oil and gas that THEY WILL NOT GRANT TO US COMPANIES.

This is utter madness.

“We need to be taking a long-term view,” she said. “It’s been proven over and over again that there would no immediate return on a reduction in gas prices or a significant expansion of our energy resources by beginning drilling for more oil right now -- and that to me is not the real responsible way to explore creating jobs.”

Dopey Debbie strikes again. If we had started drilling 10 years ago we would be well into production and job creation. However, the job-killing machine known as the Democrat Party has been dragging out this tired, old argument that it would take years to get new drilling into production THAT IF WE HAD JUST DONE IT INSTEAD OF BEING BLOCKED BY THE DEMOCRATS IT WOULD ALREADY BE PRODUCING OIL!!

“Idiocracy” is coming true

How did we get people this stupid in charge?

Stupid people voting for the feel-good words.

Tou would thing there woul dbe a FEW democrats who could be made to understand that very soon we could have a population not worth leading. But every single one of them seems to be a flaming libtard.

The presumption of the the two Dims is that legislation is required to create jobs.

Yep, they just don’t come any dumber than that.

Those two idiots and their Rats controlled Congress the last two years, they should have legislated the country out of unemployment instead of throwing hundreds of billions at the problem that didn’t work.

We need to be reducing our dependence on fossil fuels..

We've also heard people speak of our "addiction" to oil, an assertion I find particularly offensive. I don't think that in the case of petroleum, "fossil" is applicable.

‘.......she said. “It’s been proven over and over again that there would no immediate return on a reduction in gas prices or a significant expansion of our energy resources by beginning drilling for more oil right now —...”

IIRC G.W.Bush once upon a time opened up serious discussion about drilling oil, and the prices dropped overnight.

Does anybody else remember that one?

“America consumes 22.74 cubic feet of natural gas per year.” Million? Billion? Trillion? I alone produced more than 22.74 cubic feet of natural gas after a recent visit to Taco Bell.

“....seems to me it was considerable?”

IIRC yes. Considerably. Enough to jog the memory this way means it was a pretty good drop I would think.
