Why not?

China, Russia, India, and the Arab League all condemn this.

The west has only a brief window to do any of this stuff before the public opposition starts to ramp up the opposition, making it almost impossible to continue.

Seeing that this mission has at best lukewarm support, Moe-Mar can wait it out. It isn’t as if the rebels have any chance of bumping him off.

He might as well, his civil war has already been won. He’s not going anywhere.

Wait! Wait!

Let me reload and reorganize.

Rev. Jeramiah Wright's buddy is a hoot!

Wright and Farrakhan are not happy with their little Barry Soetoro, street name Barack Hussein Obamah.

Then WTF (I don't mean win the future) are we doing this? I thought it was humanitarian, and backed heavily by the rest of the Arab countries. If the Arab League is now against it, it is yet another example of how fleeting Arab gratitude is, as I commented before the decision to get involved.

The only thing I give O a little credit for is, that once the bad decision was made, making the French and others take the lead on the airplane action, rather than jumping to have the US do it all.

I rarely agree with this view of the U.S., but now I do in the case of the U.S. beginning a third war in the Middle East and the disaster that will follow. However, I do not agree though that Rep. King’s congressional hearings are a ‘witchhunt’ since he is trying to protect us here in the U.S.

Libya: Another quagmire beckons.

In the short space of a decade, the U.S. has made war in three Muslim nations, and Canada in two. For many Muslims, any just cause for these conflicts is beside the point. Shoddy affairs like Rep. Peter King (R-NY)’s congressional witchhunt on Muslims are easily enough overlooked in Karachi and Jakarta. But Western military attacks on sovereign Muslim nations can’t help but appear to many of the world’s estimated 1.2 billion to 1.6 billion Muslims - or about 20% of the world population - as a determined assault on the Muslim world.

Obama feels that if he can appease Al Qaeda in northeast Libya by removing the only man who’s kept them in check then maybe once they gain control over Libya and its oil they will warm up to the United States and stop their terrorism against us.

The Arab League is now against this because Obama and the UN came in too late.
