“Obama and the Arab League demand a no-fly zone over Israel in 3, 2, 1 ....”

And the UN will find pilots able to take on Israeli aces...when?

(OK. US Navy and Marines might have a few, but I don’t think Obama would get to use them).

“HUMMM the NYT mentioned the children of the Terrorist.

Have I missed the NYT coverage of the Jewish Children by the Hamas terrorists?”

The distinction is obvious. The IDF was aiming for terrorists, and one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. Accidentally, while trying to kill freedom fighters, they killed children, thereby being against freedom and childhood. The Palestinians, on the other hand, were aiming to kill children and settlers. One man’s settler isn’t another man’s freedom fighter, and besides, at least they weren’t clumsy. Therefore, Israel is against freedom and childhood, and also has bad aim, while the El Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade is only against the occupation and the children of occupiers, and besides, they’re handy with a knife./sarc

“...Bring in IDF artillery and pound the Gazans with 155mm and 8-inch artillery fire until the rockets stop. Every time they launch another rocket or mortar, pound the Palis with artillery. Or, better, lob rockets from the M270 MLRS onto Gaza. One M26A1 rocket carries 644 M85 enhanced submunitions. Steel Rain, indeed!...”

Stop...I’m getting excited over here!!!

Be still my beating heart!

“same old news, unfortunately” To clarify my comment: It’s SOP for the NYT to mention Palestinian children to make Israel appear like a mean old ogre. At last it admitted that the airstrikes were in response to a “barrage” of missiles but didn’t provide a specific number as other media did. And hmmm, the NYT overlooked the slaughter of an infant and toddler earlier this month, solely because the victims were Israeli Jews.

I am soooo sick of the NYT and their fellow travelers who incessantly target Israel for critism.

I wonder what it will take? A direct attack by the Islamofascist, when they feel the time is right to bring the MSM to heel.

I wonder if they think bowing to the Islamofascist will somehow protect them from their rath. Boy are they in for a surprise.

“At least five Palestinians were wounded, two of them children, . . .”

Where was the outrage over the slaughter of the Israeli unarmed family children and babies in their own home?

crickets chirping

Could be because Christian children and Jewish children have less press value

Obama would want a No-Fly Zone over Israel?

If that's all it it takes to get the Arabs to attack, OK. Then Israel can nuke the Islamic bastards and there can be REAL peace instead of this farce called “peace”.

I can’t say what the NY Times’ problem was, because they had that problem in 1948 and 1967 as well. They have always been down on Israel, perhaps because as wealthy, high-brow assimilated Jews, they feel threatened by a rebirth of Jewish nationalism.

As for the rest of MSM, the Jewish state was very much in fashion when it was sending semi-skilled pilots up in rickety second-hand planes, armed with hand-held submachine guns and seltzer bottles, trying to fight Arab pilots in second-hand Messerschmidts and other relics of WW II, because then the Jews were the underdog. Now, however, the Jews have nice, computer-age F-16s and heat-seaking missiles, flown by top-notch combat pilots who know exactly what they are about, as well as tanks, state-of-the-art automatic weapons, night-vision goggles, and other goodies. The Arabs, by contrast, have the second-hand AKs, the knives, the rocks, and the suicide vests, so now they’re the underdogs.

It never occurs to the MSM, however, that instead of bravely fighting the better-armed and better-trained Israeli soldiers, they are instead murdering babies in their sleep. The Irgun would warn civilians to stay away from areas where they would be fighting the British imperial troops, circulating notices in English, Hebrew and Arabic. The Arabs, however, seek out civilians while the Israeli Defense Forces are elsewhere, perhaps bulldozing “settlers’” unauthorized shacks and caravans. We “settlers” are the true underdogs, with no NGOs to look out for our rights. But like the Irgun before us, we are vilified in the MSM. If only we would go up in a biplane with a seltzer bottle and an M1, maybe they’d think differently.

I think it’s the rock throwing. Whenever there’s a TV crew in town, they make an appointment with Fatah to film some rock throwing. The rock throwers look to find some policemen on hand, who also know about the photo op and are wearing protective gear so that they don’t get hurt. Then the little moojahideen-elach come out with masks on and throw some rocks at the armed soldiers, who just stand there and take it. This qualifies as “brave” because the soldiers and police are armed, but isn’t really, because they’re not about to shoot some kids just because they’re getting paid by Fatah to put on a show. But since it looks like they’re being brave on camera, that makes them “underdogs” to the MSM. That’s why I like that film where the kid throws it at a moving car, and the motorist guns the motor and rolls the little bastard over his hood.

I have no answer to the insanity that has infected the World.

We have a group of people that actually state in writings and public statements that they want you and your neighbors murdered (infidels) yet the world bows and scrapes in utter fear of offending the murderers.

The U.S has elected a bunch of unqualified, incompetent idealogues and we are paying a steep price. Has their activities in the U.S and ME sealed their fate? One can only pray that Ameicans have come to their senses and will chalk this up to a close call and finally send them to the dustbin of History.
20 months is a long time in this fast moving world. It has taken 30 years to get to this point (idealogues in power).

I watched a report last night that in Texas alone, the Obamacare Law will take 50% of the State Budget. Yet local news is complaining about School budget cuts. The disconnect is mindboggling. This is the type os issues that we are dealing with, People refusing to accept reality.

Also there was a report of a van load of people trying to cross the border between Mx/U.S. The people were dressed in U.S Military Uniforms. Most with Sargeant ranks. Velcro patches with the name Perez. All were arrested, two were Americans charge with human smuggling. Homeland Security said it was troubling! You see how bad the problem is for Americans?

Yes. And I’m glad I’m here now, notwithstanding the item I just posted.
