You never tell the families anything about missions, unless someone is hurt, killed, are missing in action. Actually military assignemts are none of nufb.

A future similar incident is US how ground actions will initiate.

Especially when we have a female pilot taken, sitting on qaddafi's lap on a live cnn broadcast with boulf blitzer straighting quadfers robes and telling the bitch to suck it up before going live.

This was likely a technical incident, or will necessarily be related as such.

We need to get out of this particular theater, there is nothing there for us but liability and embarrassment.

Mechanical failure is being blamed for the crash . . .
Same thing happened with our Carter Admn. helicopters
while trying to rescue the 444 American Hostages.
RATS in control means our military equipment is out of control.

What is strange about it??

A F-15 is not one of our high-tech stealth aircraft. The role of tank killer would be more appropriate. Going down in North East Libya would seem to confirm that. Unless GDaffi’s forces have defense installations in that area.

F-15E Strike Eagle cost = $32 million in 1998, in 2011 close to $100 million to replace.

$100 million?

Your wish is my command.

What do these hypocritical idiots say but wiht changed words, ah yes

oabma lied and people died

still trying to figure how the anti war folks have no problem with this and why the hell we’re spending money there and wasting time in an area which has nothing to do with us.

The Arab league wants nutter to stop then let them do it for crying out loud

I imagine the anti war crowd will be protesting like mad over a 3rd war, oh wait their messiah started this while on vacation with his mother in law on our dime and never got permission from congress and then carried on with his vacation with family and MOTHER IN LAW

WTH is she doing there and why are we paying for her vacations and to live in the white house, have free food, no bills etc?

No matter the world is in turmoil but hey fat arse gets a vacation AGAIN.

Hardly used fleets of frontline US made F-15’s & 16’s are sitting idle in Saudi, Kuwait and Egypt. It’s the Arabic equivalent of used French military equipment’ We should borrow them instead of flying our worn out planes.

These aircraft have had the crap flow out of them.

The F-15Es are much newer than the F-15Cs; they were produced for the USAF through 2001.

Yeah...looks like the cabin area was subject to a thermite fire.

Nothing of value left there for anyone...

A war which has nothing at all to do with us...

That's the only kind of war that the Dems and the left and libs will support: one in which there is no national interest at stake ( see Kosovo ).

They do notify next of kin if you’ve just been shot down by hostile forces. Nothing unusual about that at all.

Good thing they were picked up by the rebels....what would Premier Hussein do if that had been an American crew, and were captured by Kadaffy??

Better yet, what happens after Premier Hussein summarily withdraws all US Forces from Libya, and one of the coalition aircraft gets shot down and the crew captured. What then??

do you think the rebels would treat a female pilot any better?

In Iraq female pilots had both arms and legs broken (maybe on ejection) and were repeatedly raped.
