Same here, pretty much all feedback I have gotten is positive, Many times if someone does notice, it is good conversation starter.
Me too. I was stopped a couple of times by people who started to talk about their guns. Never a negative thing said though.
And surprisingly, few people even seem to notice the gun at all!
JMHO, but I think part of the reason that people are not threatened when they do see the gun is that it is a Kimber Ultra Crimson 1911. I think if it was a Glock or a "black gun" of some sort, my results may be different as those are the ones usually pictured oon the nightly news. Maybe this isn't the case at all, but that is my theory.

Not really, you gotta remember Glocks are one of the "popular" guns, seems everyone has at least one, especially in my area where Glock has a mfg plant ;-)
Many times it starts as, "Got one, whats your model?".
