I don't think any of us have ever said there is “no danger”. Many of us however are trying to put things in perspective.
We don't see a reason for mass panic. There is a lot of hysteria based on the public’s lack of basic science understanding.
Right, sorry they said .003%, that would be ‘next’ to ‘no danger’ right?
And yeah, I sure did witness a lot of hysteria, accusations, and more.
Kinda, more hysterical were the ones trying to convince people there wasn’t any need for concern, belittling people, ridiculing, and saying it couldn’t possibly reach the U.S. And then of course it did reach the U.S.
To the point, people were intimidated to not even talk about it...
Of course I really think a lot of that hysteria was trying to cover up the point that happned on Obama’s watch.
If a Japanese gangster farts in Tokyo, some of the methane will make it here.
That doesn't mean the concentration of it is any danger to someone here.
Same thing with anything emitted from the nuke plants.
At least five people have been killed. ...by explosions, not by radiation.
You’re even loopier than I already knew. Their farts bother you now. Wow.
“Youre even loopier than I already knew. Their farts bother you now. Wow.”
No, people having an irrational fear about a few atoms of nuke plant plant are loopy.
a few?
LOL
“a few?”
Come on Fred. We don’t want FR to be a showcase for people without basic scientific understanding.
I am trying to help you here. It reflects poorly on all of us here when some posters lack basic facts.
Tell us how much radiation has made it to the US. Then compare that to the 1,054 nuclear weapons that we tested between 16 July 1945 and 23 September 1992.

Knowledge is power.
LOL @ U
Please explain to the rest of the class why the FDA has halted food imports from Japan while you’re educating people.
Really? Two, ‘suddenly got sick’...hmmmm
Ok Fred here is your quote:
“Kinda, more hysterical were the ones trying to convince people there wasnt any need for concern, belittling people, ridiculing, and saying it couldnt possibly reach the U.S. And then of course it did reach the U.S.”
Now tell us how banning food grown in Japan near the reactor site has anything to do with detecting a few atoms of radiation in the US?
Different topics there Fred.
Facts are stubborn things. Again I'm trying to help you here. If you post on a conservative site, you make us all look bad when you choose to ignore facts and make ridiculous comparisons.
Unless you are really not one of us. Wait a minute; what's that bumper sticker I see on the back of your Prius. Fred, is that a Obama Biden sticker?
Does DU have a program to plant people here and make FR look bad?
Hmmm...
