Senate to hold hearings on Muslims' rights
Washington Times ^ | March 22, 2011 | Stephen Dinan

Just weeks after House Republicans held a hearing looking at the dangers of radical Muslims in the U.S., Senate Democrats are countering with a hearing of their own, scheduled for after Congress returns from a 10-day vacation, to examine Muslims' civil rights.

Senate Majority Whip Richard J. Durbin, Illinois Democrat, announced the subcommittee hearing Tuesday, saying there has been a spike in anti-Muslim bigotry in the last year that demands closer attention.

(edit)

The hearing will be the first ever before the Judiciary Committee's new subcommittee on the Constitution, civil rights and human rights, which Democrats created this year. Mr. Durbin is the chairman of the subcommittee.

(edit)

In 2009, the latest FBi statistics available, anti-Islamic hate crimes accounted for 9.3 percent of the 1,376 religiously motivated hate crimes recorded. That's far less than the 70.1 percent that were anti-Jewish.

"That's far less than the 70.1 percent that were anti-Jewish."

Yet Durbin the Turban could care less about the Jews. He probably got his marching orders directly from Hussein.

You can really see where their sympathies are.

If I had the money, in 2012 I’d run an ad with no voice-over, no slogans.

First clip, the Republicans holding hearings on Muslim terror in the US. Maybe a few film clips of actual Muslim terror in the US.

Second clip, Turbin’s hearings, followed by that statistic.

That’s all. Wouldn’t even push it with a “Who’s on our side?” or anything like that. Just let those two separate hearings show where people stand with the Reps and the Dems.

Sharia law is anathema to the U.S. Constitution and is intended to replace the Constitution. Muzzies don’t have the right to destroy the Constitution!

LOL...so the Democrats are crawling in bed with the Muslims. Birds of a feather flock together. Let’s see how that goes down with the American public.

muslim rights?
According to the democrats over the last 50 years Christians have no rights because the Constitution seperates Church and State. Then muslims have no rights either. They simply have the same rights as any citizens if they are a citizen.
However since their religion (islam) has declared war on America and their religion is a system that supresses freedom and liberty then are they enemies of the State?

I’m taking bets—I say at some point Durbin almost starts to cry as he apologizes to those who are testifying, for all the pain they’ve had to endure after eight years of bullying and blah blah...That isn’t the America WE know” or some such smarmy crap.

Anyone wanna bet against me?

The DOJ is too busy making sure our enemies are protected while Americans are plotting to destroy the stock market and there are tapes available of it, yet they do nothing.

Are they also going to have hearings on neo-nazi rights and anti-neo-nazi bigotry?

Islam is a political ideology just as Nazism is.

If Nazis had worship Mars would nazism have been just fine with the Democrats under the claim of religion?

I’ve seen more evidence of infringement of rights against Tea Party members than Muslims.

Lock and load, boys and girls.
It’s going to get interesting—and our so-called ‘leaders’, both RINO and Dhimmocrat, will do NOTHING TO PROTECT US.

NOTHING AT ALL.

Treasonous just treasonous.

America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.—Barack Obama

If everybody that voted in 2008 shows up in 2010, we will win this election. We will win this election.--Barack Obama

Florida judge Richard Nielsen is going to follow sharia in a dispute between Muslims . Turban Durbin will be happy about that.

The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim-majority country - I know, because I am one of them.—Barack Obama
