Libyan rebels announce interim government

BENGHAZI, Libya, March 23 (UPI) -- Rebel leaders in Libya announced they formed an interim government bent on maintaining the unity of the country, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Fighters loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi are attacking rebel positions in the country despite international forces enforcing a no-fly zone under a U.N. Security Council mandate.

Interim government of what? The bin Laden neighborhood of Benghazi? Usually those who set up a government do so to govern the areas over which they have control.
But, hey... why confuse them with facts?
They are presently interviewing potential caliphates.

Yeah, Hitler tried it during the Beer Hall Putsch. Had his people start announcing around the city that he had been made chancellor and then tried to force the elder statesmen to give him the job. Didn’t work.
