New census milestone: Hispanics to hit 50 million

WASHINGTON (AP) -- In a surprising show of growth, Hispanics accounted for more than half of the U.S. population increase over the last decade, exceeding estimates in most states.

Pulled by migration to the Sun Belt, America's population center edged westward on a historic path to leave the Midwest.

So what’s actual number of people within U.S. borders - 550 million ? Including terrorists, agents, saboteurs, day laborers, Presidents, etc.

That has to include the illegals--at least some. The census questionnaire didn't ask about citizenship--just who lived in the household. If the 20 mil would go home, there would only be 30 mil left here. If they get amnesty, next census they will be 40% of population, as they will bring mama, papa, siblings, cousins, their 4 wives and former wives with their children, grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, and then have children every year, maybe with multiple women.

Really; around me more and more of the businesses have only Spanish on their signs, at least 50% of the children in the playgrounds are Hispanic, and we’ve never had immigration raids. Who is surprised by this?

As I posted on other threads, one detail left at the end of a news story about “black flight” from Detroit was that the Hispanic population there actually increased. That is an omen of things to come in every corner of this country.

I remember years ago when President Bush was being pressured by the Mexican government to collect child support payments on behalf of the families our hard-working, angelic illegals had abandoned there as they took up new lives (and mistresses) here. The remittances slowed, then stopped; apparently the new girlfriends didn’t see a future while feeding their boyfriends’ broods’ as well.

Nothing came of it, but I’m sure Bush had to explain that we couldn’t get tax revenue out of them, and that would certainly be more important than child support.

Janet is in denial. Queen of Denial? yeah i think so-seems to me she’s holding out for Texas with the highest population of illegal immigrants who are planning to vote in 2012 election for odumbo unless Texas does some serious re-configuring including deportation.

It will be interesting to see if higher gas prices, lack of construction jobs, and the states running out of benefits that they take advantage of have an effect. My guess is that more illegal immigrants will be leaving for home in the near future as there won't be much to be gained by staying here in the U.S!
