Great for a fixed installation; but what about mobile facilities or, say, threading the needle to a target which has been intentionally surrounded by civilian assets?
You’d be extremely surprised by what we can see without having “eyes” on target.
You simply don’t put that many Marines on a ship and haul them across the ocean, only to sit below decks and bob around on the waves for a few months.
Some lame “justification” will be given before those boots hit the ground. But those boots WILL hit the ground ... somewhere ... for some reason.
