How did Glenn define “defeat” as in “defeating Israel?” Is he suggesting military defeat or diplomatic pressure forcing Israel to cave on certain issues to achieve a hollow peace = defeat?

I don't think he gave a definition but we all know what defeat of Israel means to the muzzies.
I realized a while back that Israel was becoming surrounded and would have no protection once Egypt fell. Once Jordan falls, what is Israel going to do?
At that point Israel is virtually surrounded by enemies who want to "drive her to the sea"

He gave an implied definition. R2P requires military force to destroy any regime involved in any of four activities, one of which is genocide. Parties within the cadre of Obama have referred to the Palestinian issue as an example of genocide. Ergo, one could conclude that Obama’s goal is the extermination of the government of Israel (which I personally believe is the case).
As an Arab leader said just before the 6-Day War, “If there are any Jewish survivors, the boats will be there to deport them.” The disunity of Arab states was one reason they were routed in the 6-Day War.
Obama is setting up to assure that doesn’t happen again, using the one thing that will unify them - islamist theocracies on the Iran model.

When Samantha Power first propose R2P in was in the context of massive global military force to "protect the peaceful Palestinians" and other mid east countries from "those aggressive Israelis"
If you see it seem NATO is being turned into massive global military force of the propose R2P and that it was Turkey that held up NATO to get some thing in place before giving that ok for Nato
The idea seem that Libya is being used to establish R2P as a doctrine and force and that pro Islamics will have the say on the "who and how" the R2P force is applyed in the world to come
It doesn’t matter what GLENNs definition is. What MATTERS is what the Islamofascist define as Israel Defeat.

This is silly. The majority (70% + ) of American Jews voted for Obama and still love him. How could they and their hero want to destroy Israel?
Beck is also an anti-birther with o’reilly. He makes fun of birthers.

American Jewish supporters of Obama were warned that Obama was anti-Israel...and they chose to believe Obama instead.
Soon they will have choose between Obama Liberalism and Israel.
I know a few Jewish folks. The majority of them are libs. They do not identify with Israel in any way. They have no loyality to Israel and very little religious tie if any to the Jewish Religion.
They will vote for Obam.
I’m not a Jew, but I continue to feel a special connection to the Jews... in Israel.
I can’t imagine living under the conditions they are forced to deal with.
I have Jewish friends and family who are Obama supporters. That said, I don't think they have thought much about the true meaning of Obama's anti-Israel position and will soon have to confront that and all that means for their friends and relatives.
And if not, what would Glenn do about it?

I want to be on record that I’ve been trying to get the point across about this too. I don’t listen to Glenn Beck, nor watch his program as we don’t have access to cable, and we don’t do satellite. All we have is what that antennae attached to the chimney will pick up for us. I don’t hear well, so I don’t listen to radio.
I formed my conclusions from what I read here everyday at FRee Republic. It’s all right here for everybody to read, and understand everyday.
To be honest Beck did not say it but if you read beween the lines with him there is prophetic element to this of the outside world force that guarantees a 7 year peace protection pack to Israel to be broke at 3.5 years

He said the following (among other things):
I will bring to the White House an unshakeable commitment to Israel's security. That starts with ensuring Israel's qualitative military advantage. ...I will ensure Israel can defend itself from any threat, from Gaza to Tehran. ...As president I will use all elements of American power to pressure Iran. I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything.
Who knows? One thing is for sure, Israel is quickly being surrounded by those who would like to push her into the sea.
Whether the R2P plan comes into effect or will even be necessary remains to be seen. Maybe it's just a backup plan.
Seems to me it's all in God and Israel's hands.
I’m not sure it’s within Beck’s purview to propose a solution in a one-hour segment. Obviously, voting Obama out is a good start, but as fast as things have moved in the last month, the initial goal is almost realized, namely unification of the Arab states.
So, having Obama out in 2012 may be too late to stop the next step.
Furthermore, it is to Obama’s advantage, if he indeed is trying to surround Israel with a unified Arab force, to keep Afghanistan and Iraq hot, depleting our financial and military treasure. The enormous debt is to his advantage, as well.
Then, when the chips are down in the next presidency, whether D or R, there will be no way our govt will back Israel up.
My model is the Six-Day War, where the US could not even offer verbal support to Israel, much less blockade-busting help, because of our involvement in Vietnam.
My solution would be for R’s to begin demanding pullout of troops from the two Arab fronts at the very least. Cutting out the budget charade and bravely (hah!) moving forward with spending cuts would be another big point. Actually, I don’t believe there are many, if any, Republicans strong enough to stand up to Obama.
Whether by design or by bumbling, Obama has set up the destruction of Israel, and a complete global realignment, IMHO. He will glory in the fact that the most destructive results will happen under someone else’s watch. Not a bad two years’ work for a junior senator.

Leftist Jews are pretty much that: they have left their religion, substituting a political world view for 3000 years of a calling from God.
A world of horror awaits us as the armies of Evil begin the seige, with huge efforts underway to get the world’s superpower to provide the military might.
Israel’s support in the US comes more from Christians than from Jews.

Just responding to the headline. If Obama is so foolish as to invade our country, I pity him. The last foreign occupier, Britain, had a bad time of it, and in the end left. Learn from history, O. We’re being as humane to the Arabs as they allow us to be. We’re under constant threat. And you have the nerve to consider invading us? Good luck. We’re more trouble than it’s worth.
Somehow it appears to me that foreign policy-makers in DC—both parties—believe, as gospel, that if we only make nice to Muslim peoples, they will be nice to us, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.
Afghanistan is betraying us, even while we’re still there—compromising with the Taliban, and Iraq has already, by selling their oil to anyone BUT the USA. To me it’s a bit like being nice to a used car dealer—as those are the ones they rip-off the most, the suckers of the world.
Washington can’t seem to understand we are nothing but morally inferior infidels to the world of Islam, with money, and some really good technology/toys. Friendliness to them, is just a sign we are weak, and more easily ripped off.
Strength to tyrants, is the only thing they respect, and historically tyrants are about all Islamic peoples’ respect. Therefore, we should treat tyrannies, and tyrannically ruled peoples differently than we do democracies—speaking softly but carrying a big stick.
Instead the Democrats, as is so typical of them, lead with their mouths, and then get trapped into using strength when it is not to our advantage, or real national interest.
Before WWII many of American Jews did nothing to help Jews fleeing from Nazi Germany persecution. Check the horrible fate of SS St. Lois. Yet, after the war, many lined up to cash on the holocaust reparations, as if being Holocaust victims.
George Soros is former Nazi, member of Hungarian Arrow Cross.
They profited once from The Holocaust, they hope to cash in once again. For them, crime does pay.
