COLONIE -- "Treat him like you treat me. Give him God's love," he recalled the priest saying.

The bedroom door would close as a second priest would allegedly rape the little boy. When it was over, the victim said, the Rev. Alan Jupin would walk him to a bathroom where a third priest, seated, would make him perform oral sex."

Bishop Hubbard announced he had suspended three of the priests: Jupin, Louis Douglas, 82, and Donald Ophals, 77. It's at least the second time since 2003 the three priests have been accused of sexual molestation.

"Since 2002 we've removed 24 priests and one deacon from clergy because reasonable ground were found to believe they sexually abused a minor," - Rev. Kenneth Doyle, the diocese's chancellor for public information

Does anyone have any ideas for how seminaries could screen for these freaks?

Far too many are getting through. There should be exactly 0.

Look at their ages, they were part of the 60’s crowd.

In a press release this Saturday, the diocese released the names of the priests who’ve been placed on administrative leave:

73 year-old-Reverend Alan Jupin from the our Lady of Fatima Parish in Schenectady,

77-year-old Reverend Donald Ophals of the Saint Francis De Sales Parish in Troy, and

82- year-old Reverend Louis Douglas of the Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Albany

The Rev. John Bertolucci — a fourth priest accused with Jupin, Ophals and Douglas — was removed from ministry by Hubbard in 2002 based on unrelated sexual abuse allegations.

“Does anyone have any ideas for how seminaries could screen for these freaks?”

Why should the Catholics screen for them when the military is supposed to stop screening for them soon?

Goldfarb says the diocese referred the new allegation to the Albany County District Attorney’s office and was told criminal proceedings will not be pursued. Statute of Limitations for child rape saves them from jail.

Bullet in the brain.

Dust to dust.

We have never dealt seriously enough with Priests, Pastors, Scout leaders etc. They need to be held to higher standard and that standard should have no sway.

There is NO re-conditioning these folks. A bullet is much too easy for them in my opinion. But it’s cheap.

I was in the car today and ABC news came on. This was their top story.

Next was Obama meeting with Congress over the new war.

Third was the Saudi’s getting involved in Libya.

Nowhere was a mention of Japans reactor that might have a breech.

Let’s face it, to the MSM media, neither national security, war, nuclear meltdown or energy trumps reporting a Catholic church scandal. They can never tell me there’s no bias!

Then its time that the Church bring back the burning stake.

In early March 21 Priests were suspended by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/2685880/posts

An Uproar in Ireland over Pedophile Priests and brothers.

A few years back the Church was sued and paid out Millions of dollars because of Pedophilia. Most Catholics thought step were taken then to rid the Church of this stain. Why are we still getting stories of Pedophiles? Whjy hasn’t this mess been straightened out? Why are Priests still denied the right to marry?

These questions run through my mind.

Who is to do the straightening. The Cardinals, The Bishops?
Were they not picked from the ranks of the Priesthood?
Who vouch’s for their innocence? Why else would they hide these perverts in their ranks?

Don’t they realise that ignoring these perverts puts shame on the Church, and makes them all suspect?

I believe in the Catholic Church and the Apostle’s Creed, but I am suspect, and with reason, about those who represent the Church.A person should not have to make excuses for his religion or feel shame for the acts of their Church’s Pastor’s and High office Holders.

If there were still 21 in Philadelphia , how many others are still around in opther diocese’s ? How can one go to his Priest and talk about this going on when one cannot know if his own priest is guilty? Who can you approach, and how can you feel absolved of sin when you leave penance service if you do have complete trust in the one who absolved you?

I know Free Republic is not the place to bring these doubts, because they are absorbed and used by the enemies of the Church, but where is the proper place to ask , how can one make oneself free in their own mind of these questions?

How can one be sure anythingis being done when new cases keep appearing. The Catholic Church is not growing as it should because of this, and who’s fault is it? It is the fault of those who have been hiding these people for so many years. Not the Parisioner, but the clergy.

The seminaries decided to be tolerant. And, of course, once a few sodomites are inside an institution they use their positions to make it possible to expand their numbers and to prevent any action from being taken against them.

At some point people will discover that there is no “live and let live” with sodomites.

When I went back to my 20 year class reunion it appeared to be OK for some of the boys who were abused by Christian Brothers at the HS I was expelled from to relate their adventures in rump riding with some of the brothers.

They used to beat the crap out of us, I mean with fists, web belts, those big black board erasers, rulers, yard stick, bamboo sticks and various and sundry other items.

If we complained, it was always, “what did you do to irritate the good _____ (Father, Sister, Brother, et al).

I was expelled because I told Brother Stanley if he ever hit me again I would kill him where he stood. So he ran to the principle, who was the chief sadist and pervert.

Anyway, I just thought they were sadistic but 20 years later I finally go the word from others that for many of the boys it was all about the sex.

I would like to track them down now. I can not think of anything that would be too evil for these perverts and I hope they burn in hell.

When a male pedophile abuses a little boy, he is a HOMOSEXUAL PEDOPHILE.

Was the top story described as “pedophilia?” It usually is.

For some unexplained reason, the old media has not discovered the real problem. Old homos going after young boy butts.

The whole faith revolves around forgiveness. There is nothing without it. In my estimation, the problem is with their superiors who move them from parish to parish as Cardinal Law (a man apparently without any conscience whatsoever) did. I know that Pope John Paul forgave Cardinal Law. I don’t know how, but I know he did. Cardinal Law is now a fundraiser in Rome. He should have been defrocked. Even if one manages to forgive Fr. Geoghan and Shanley and goodness knows how many others, it was Cardinal Law who enabled them and effectively abused those little boys himself.

“...they were part of the 60’s crowd..”

The social revolution starting in the 60’s was the beginning of a cultural cancer in the US and the world. It has metastasized now to the point that our nation is very sick.

This individual states that he recovered his memories during counseling, many years after the fact. He also was around when these priests were accused a few years earlier. A high index of skepticism is justified. Even more lurid accounts have been conjured up out of whole cloth with the assistance of overzealous and undertrained therapists.
