Police at the University of Central Florida are looking into claims that members of a fraternity bragged about a game involving drugging random women at a fraternity function in February.
University spokesman Chad Binette said Friday that UCF's Office of Student Conduct and the UCF Police Department "will be conducting reviews of the incident."
"Our No. 1 priority is to provide a safe environment for the entire university community," including our Greek organizations," Binette said.
The fraternity denied the allegations and said it welcomes the reviews.
The controversy stems from a Feb. 10 event, in which documents released by UCF state the Delta Upsilon fraternity and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority took a bus to a downtown Orlando nightclub.
In written statements, three unnamed sorority members complained that during the bus ride, members of the fraternity talked about putting "roofies" in random drinks and passing them out to unsuspecting women.
They also said that, though there wasn't supposed to be alcohol on the bus, Delta Upsilon members were drinking from a spiked two-liter soda bottle.

Based on the “testimony” in the article, obtaining a conviction on a charge of jaywalking would be a Herculean task.
I have a friend that was ‘date raped’ — it’s no laughing matter.
She’s had problems with miscarriages and some suggest the drug has that lasting effect.

These drugs, mixed with alchohol make you very out of it...with no memory at all of what happened the previous night.
It’s not that hard for women to avoid getting drugged...but then of course they have to avoid getting ripped at college.
Maybe that’s asking too much.

The commenters (and police) appear to be ignoring the distinct possibility the young men in question were talking stupidly. Not an uncommon thing for this group, and for that matter most other humans.
It is true women can avoid getting drugged.
If we never meet,eat or drink in public with men present, that pretty much reduces the risk factor to zero.
Oh wait...isn't that what the Islamists demand of women of their society?
