(Hillary) Clinton Cites Rwanda, Bosnia in Rationale for Libya Intervention

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton emphasized the humanitarian rationale for the U.S. military intervention in Libya, recalling instances from recent history when a lack of U.S. intervention had left hundreds of thousands dead.

In an interview with ABC News’ Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper on “This Week,” Clinton said that the United Nations-backed military intervention in Libya “is a watershed moment in international decision making. We learned a lot in the 1990s. We saw what happened in Rwanda. It took a long time in the Balkans, in Kosovo to deal with a tyrant. But I think in what has happened since March 1st, and we're not even done with the month, demonstrates really remarkable leadership.”

FLASHBACK: Senator Clinton Says Bush Must Ask Congress Before Using (any use of) Force Against Iran AP ^ | February 14, 2007

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton warned President Bush on Wednesday not to take any military action against Iran without getting congressional approval first.

"If the administration believes that any, any use of force against Iran is necessary, the president must come to Congress to seek that authority," Clinton said in a Senate speech.

She went off the reservation to pull this one out of her sleeve (being nice now) but apparently was brought back unceremoniously. Hey Hillary, do you walk to work or carry your lunch? Inquiring minds want to know how the other half of your Alexander Haig moment felt.

Bosnia and Rwanda (and Somalia) were all on her husband’s watch

the smartest woman in the world wants us to believe how much she learned from her husband’s mistakes, by replicating them (can anyone say “Somalia”)

Now, maybe if she hadn’t been so busy snooping through pilfered FBI files of US citizens, looking for her missing Rose Law firm billing records, figuring how to smear and fire career civil servants so she could turn over the WH travel office to her personal friends, and covering up the offing of Vince Foster ....

If Gaddafi was going to kill “hundreds of thousands” wouldn't he done so long ago?

Her husband wasn’t the great leader obama is. Is that what she’s saying? Man, it’s amazing how fast these people will sell their souls for fame and fortune and power. Gain the world but lose their souls. Johnny Hunt is preaching on this subject as I type this.

Example of Hillary Clinton doing an 'intervention' in her own country.

Quite frankly, if our enemies - and again, quite frankly, Muslims are our enemies - want to kill their own, and in doing so waste weath and miltary hardware that could one day be aimed at us, I say let’s stay out of their way.

The same goes for overpopulated third world hell holes with not a chance in hell of moving beyond their endemic corruption, poverty and primitive tribalism.

The global movers and shakers that orchestrate the interventions do so for power and wealth, then convince the sheep we have good hearts for caring. It’s easy to play the sheeple.

Somalia started with Bush 41.

The left goaded him into sending troops into Somalia IIRC shortly after the 92 election.

The left then used Bush sending troops into Somalia to explain the WTC terrorist attack shortly after Clinton took office, although the terrorist began planning the attack sometime in 1991.

Had that attack been successful in toppling the WTC, I have no doubt Clinton would have declared martial law and we would have had ourselves a dictator.

So I really don't see it as a surprise that instead of kicking al Quada butt all over the place in Somalia, Clinton let al Quada defeat the US and elevated al Quada and UBL to the big dogs on the block in the muslim world.
