Casey Anthony’s attorney’s filed a blistering motion on Thursday accusing Judge Belvin Perry of displaying clear bias in the case against their client, Casey Anthony, according to the Orlando Sentinal.
Recently Casey Anthony’s defense team suffered a setback when Judge Perry ruled against their request to have some of the statements that Anthony made to friends, family and law enforcement officials inadmissible. The team, including attorney Jose Baez, are asking for rehearings accusing Judge Perry of inaccuracies in the original hearing and these inaccuracies lead to the decision against them. The motion essentially questions Perry’s rulings on important issues of whether Casey Anthony’s rights were violated, in particular her right to counsel and Miranda warnings. The motion also requests a rehearing on “factual errors between testimony presented at hearing and the order denying [the] motion to suppress statements made to law enforcement officers.”
Attorney Beaz is also calling into question some of the experts findings in regard to the scientific evidence, including the choloform levels experts claim to have been present in the trunk of Anthony’s car. The cadaver dogs findings are also in question with their indication that there had been a dead body in the trunk.
Casey Anthony is being held on charges of first-degree murder in the 2008 death of her daughter Caylee Marie. Casey Anthony claims that her daughter was abducted, but failed to report that abduction for nearly a month. Her actions during that month are termed “suspicious” by prosecutors. Caylee’s body was found just a few blocks from her home several months after she was reported missing.
Judge Perry is the second judge to preside over the Anthony case. The original judge, Stan Strickland, recused himself from the case at the request of Casey’s defense team. According to court records the defense claimed “Judge Strickland seeks publicity in his own right, and that his rulings and decisions from the bench could be improperly influenced by his desire to secure the outcome that maximizes that publicity.”
When your client is as guilty as hell you try and put the judge and the system on trial. The little bitch should be tied out in the swamp for gator bait.

Casey Anthony’s attorney is “rat,” “jerk” according to juror surveys
ORLANDO — “An ambulance chaser and a rat,” is how one potential juror described Jose Baez in court. Eyewitness News obtained juror surveys from other cases Baez, Casey Anthony’s attorney, has defended.
Many were critical of Baez’s work, so WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked WFTV’s legal expert whether Baez’s image might hurt Casey’s case in court.
There were a lot of negative descriptions of Casey’s defense attorney, Jose Baez, when he questioned potential jurors in an Osceola County case he was defending in December 2008, just four days after Caylee’s remains were found.
Baez was described as an “ambulance chaser and rat,” “a jerk” who “should find another line of business,” “not a good lawyer” who is “full of himself” and “is out to become famous.” Baez apparently was worried there was fallout over defending Casey and the answers he got proved there was.
