“The sooner he goes away the better.”

If he decides to run, he does a have a little cash to throw around. He would probably go all in for it, spending mega millions. That’s how he does things.

Trump has a good grasp on marketing. He’s not so good on business having driven numerous businesses into the ground.

Trump may offer a "bi-partisan" ticket of himself and hillary. Don't be fooled. It is a liberal ticket all the way.

“Your memory is good and you’re right about Trump. Trump is a skunk and he’s going to get another Rat elected in 2012.”

Trump is not running for President. Trump cares about two things in life, Money and Trump. There is no wat he is going to pull 100 million out of his personal account to run for office.

But.. Trump does want something and that is access. In the NWO housing, office buildings and other structures are going to change hands. Trump wants a piece of the action.

Same here.

I don't trust Trump as far as I can throw him with both my arms broke.

I have zero doubt Trump's bringing up Zippo’s eligibility issue to help Hillary get in the WH.

In my opinion, Trump is a globalist right up there with Soros and the Left’s other anti-constitutional, anti-National border billionaires.

I like his talk about competing with China and his sudden concern about the constitution’s presidential qualification issues, but I think he’s out to split and defeat the tea party for his party - the international globalists.

The guy’s ego is just massive. The conceit that he could get elected president is mind-blowing. He is amusing though. But there are so many listed as would-be Repuke nominees who should be running for the Demovik nom. Trump, Christie, Romney...

Good to see Freepers not falling for this Trump-is-a-conservative nonsense.

To an extent I agree with you. On the other hand, what do you give the man who already has everything? Why, the one thing he doesn’t already have, of course. Whether he sees the presidency as little more than a trophy or not, I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t crave it even if it does mean a pay cut.

He’s bored. And probably really curious why Obama refuses to show his birth certificate. It’s unlikely he would go all the way. I think he will drop out at some point. In the meantime he’s helping the republicans more than he’s hurting them. He focuses on one issue (an issue I do NOT take lightly) which allows us to focus on the other issues: drilling, jobs, war with Libya... and the long list goes on

You can quote things from 4 years ago, but if you didn't hear Trump's interview on O'Reilly on 3/30/2011, your information is simply dated and uninfomed.

You might want to get more current.

I will check it out, but I can’t see how he could explain away his support for Hillarycare or for John Kerry.

Reagan was a Democrat until 1960. That means he supported FDR, Truman, and Adalai Stevenson - twice. Am I a better and more committed conservative that he was because I have never in my life voted Democrat?

Trump always supported Reagan. He still does.

Trump hates Bush. Always has. Like Perot before him and McCain in 2000 - they have a thing about all things Bush.

I have reasons I like Bush(s) and I have reasons I dislike Bush(s) too -- both of them. On this 30th anniversary of the attempt on Reagan's life, I'll admit that on this day 30 years ago I thought "Bush I" might have had something to do with it. I knew his history and I didn't trust him. I like "W" to the degree I did and do because he wasn't/isn't like his dad.

What I can say about Trump: He opposes abortion and gay marriage -- not all Bushes do. He believes in having the military patroling the Mexican border -- Bush never did. Neither does McCain. Trump wants to stick it to China and re-assert American sovereignty and monetary soundness.

In some ways Trump out Reagan's Reagan. Reagan legalized abortion in CA when he was a (R) governor. He regretted it, because it gave cover for what became Roe v. Wade. So what if Trump finds Bush less inspiring than either Kerry or Hillary. OK so what. He was wrong back then. So was Reagan at one point.

People change. Trump appears to have as well.

Reagan sounded different in 1956 than he sounded in 1960.

I'll give Trump a chance at this point because I like what I see and hear.

It's usually like that with politicians one chooses to vote for.

Some of the most effective conservatives are those who at one point were Democrats.

Was Donald Trump toying with the idea of a presidential run as far back as 2009?

That’s when New York City Board of Elections filings show The Donald switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.
