Skip to comments.Unbelievable: US Marines preparing to indoctrinate soldiers to accept homosexuality

Every commander executing a plan that he considers bad or disastrous is criminal. He must point out the flaws, insist that it be changed and at last resort resign rather than be the instrument of the destruction of his own men.
Even we didn't think that the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (DADT) would lead to anything like this so quickly.
How can even the US Marines be fully on board? Many of you may have seen this recent official announcement video by the Marine Corps on how they intend to do their best to integrate homosexuality into their units.
It's truly mind-numbing watching the commanders of America's armed forces cave in to an immediate and thorough large-scale indoctrination into the destructive tentacles of homosexuality. It's hard to figure out whether they actually believe this, or they're selling their souls. In the end it doesn't matter. They are helping destroy the US military as we know it.
What do you suppose Napoleon (or General Patton) would say about all this?

If this is true, God help us all.
Elections have consequences.
My father-in-law and his father are both spinning in their graves... The next thing we’ll hear is they are giving them rainbow medals to pin on their uniforms for being the most “diverse” and “tolerant.”
This sucks, literally.
Well, they are now giving "medals" for soldiers who hold back while under fire.
Welcome to the Obama era.
Marines are not soldiers...Marines are Marines..Soldiers are in the Army.
Does anyone know how many resignations we have had so far as a result of DADT?
Don’t forget about Scott Brown!
The DI in Full Metal Jacket was ahead of his time saying it’s courteous to offer a ‘reach-around’.
“Marines are not soldiers...Marines are Marines..Soldiers are in the Army.”
And, yes they will hold those offensive classes as they will be ordered to do so just as they were ordered to do so in the 1070s and 80s when classes in Human Relations ( aka HumRel) had to be held with regard to race relations..
Sucks..indeed it does and don’t think for a second the Marines will like this...they won’t.
Ever heard of silent contempt?
While it is a stupid order, it is a legal order. I think its a mistake, but it is a legal order.
Marines follow legal orders.
My guess is, of all of the forces, the Marines will do the best job at this.
Stupid order that it is.
Imagine being the lucky master Sergent given responsibility to deliver this message to men and women trained to kill. There are female marines, and they have the same sensibilities as males when it comes to homosexuality.
I wonder how this will be reconciled with the UCMJ.
Will they serve quiche in basic training
Wasn’t it Time magazine that had a cover story “We’re all socialists now” after Ohbowmao won the election?
Next issue in the grocery rack I expect to see “We’re all grabasses now.”
Those queers, they’re always thinking outside the “box”, literally.
You have warriors and you have REMF.
All that I've got to say is, "no honor.... the officers that push this have NO HONOR." The men know this is horse-sh#t and is made to destroy the Corps with legal fights, declining morale and loss of combat efficiency. This is exactly what the libs and anti-American quislings want.
Destroy the education system, monetary system and military system to accomplish what the marxist have always wanted. The only island of freedom and liberty is now infested with liberal rats and flies. The parasites have taken over and I'm just going to quietly find a way to undermine everything these punks try.
My 16 year old son is an great athlete, great GPA and works with as a coach for special olympics soccer and softball teams. His grandfather, father, 2 uncles and 2 cousins were in the Marines. The chances of me guiding him towards Annapolis are zero... same with ROTC or PLC program. His MOS is going to be "non-parasite" citizen tax-payer.
Sometimes I just shake my head and look at the absolute filth and immoral propaganda shoved at my kids from kindergarten on up and I want to puke. I tell them to parrot what the idiot teachers tell them, get your grade and get out. With one in college, two in high school and 8th grader, we all laugh about the PC garbage that makes up sciences, history and even math these days.
I just tell them to read and understand what they need to know, develop good study habits, show up early and finish what you start and you'll be ahead of 80-90% of the douche-tard liberals that teach them and the little parasite class that graduates with them.
They also tend to ignore stupid orders. GO1 being one of them.
That isn’t quite true. In the broadest usage of the word “soldier”, Marines are soldiers. We don’t really call each other that, we call each other Marine (and everyone else seems to as well). In a classification sense of the word, usually “soldier” refers to someone in the Army as you will see them call “US Army Soldiers” while Marines are usually just “US Marines”. It is a fine nuance of the word but I think you would or could say a Marine is a soldier. As a Marine, I would find no issue in your calling me a soldier, although I would prefer Marine. Hope I didn’t muddy the water there.

Zero. There is almost 10% unemployment.
While I'm not a fan of the DADT repeal, it's fanciful to believe that there might be some resignations because of it. Besides, the only people who can resign from the military, or non-ob officers.
The only indication where you might be able to discern where the repeal has had a deleterious effect (at least on troop strength) is on the retention and recruitment numbers. Thus far, those number have been excellent - again, in no small part due to economic conditions.
“That isnt quite true...”
I really no longer expect the boots to know anything of Corps history and traditions...and since fr doesn’t allow personal URLs here, and since I won’t waste the time to type it all out, I leave those who choose to do so to their deserved ignorance...

None, it’s a bad economy and military pay is pretty decent compared to civilian sectors. You won’t be seeing a lot of officers jump ship. Everyone is trying to get their 20.
By the time there are lots of jobs, this issue will be old and probably accepted and forgotten about.
not the queerettes...
Besides, the only people who can resign from the military, are first or second year academy students or non-ob officers.
I don’t get why people react with such shock and anger at the military over this. Congress made it law. The military follows law. The correct focus of ire over this issue is Congress.

Don’t give up on the military. Sarah will fix the military. The gay thing will stay but at least Sarah will make America a proud country again. I am sure your son is strong enough to fend off the gay agenda after all he has a great parent in you and your a FREEPER to boot so you know he was raised right.
Your ignorance of Marine history is astounding.
“The finest soldier any captain could wish to have,” said of Dan Daly by BGen W.P. Upshur
Marines have always been called soldiers, Soldiers of the sea and stuff like that. The dictionary says that the word Marine means soldiers affiliated with the Navy. This stuff about Marines are Marines, Not soldiers is a pretty new thing.
“Soldiers trained in the ways of the sea,” -CMC, BGen Benjamin H. Fuller
“He turned down the gold bars of a second lieutenant. ‘I’m a plain soldier,’ he said, ‘and I want to stay one.’”
-GySgt John Basilone
Just to quote a few Marines that have gone before.
